I dropped a computer off there so long ago I had marked it a loss, I kept going in to the shop…read moreevery few days to check on it for about 4 weeks (no joke, I had complained to them it had taken 2 months and they looked up how much time it has been there for me - "only 4 weeks"...I was like "ONLY???") - I showed up physically there in person and I got nothing but excuses as to how the wrong part was sent, and then a faulty part, and then the wrong part again...I called after about a month and asked if I could just have the broken laptop back, the next day when I called to see if it was ready to pickup they told me it was still apart on some table somewhere and they're still waiting on the part, they also said they'd call me to let me know when it was back together - that was about 2 weeks ago and I still haven't heard anything, so I call today and someone tells me "Oh, we thought you were frustrated and wanted the computer back so it's been sitting here in front" Thanks Dexter's! Mike came out same day to our home office and diagnosed our computer immediately. It turned out our hard drive was beginning to crash. He suggested we replace the hard drive with the new Serial or SATA type vs. the old Parallel type. He took our computer and returned it next day. He was able to save all our data which he transfered onto the new upgraded hard drive, he added an external hard drive for backing up, and he cleaned up our computer from malware and internal dust. Mike is very knowledgeable, fair priced, honest and very professional. We will most definitely use South Shore PC Repair in the future for all our home and business computer needs.
