Bill was very polite, called me over the weekend to set up the time and said he'd go to the jobsite to get his guys started and then come and meet with me. He just sent me a text message (not even dignified enough to call) at 8:30pm the night before saying "We are currently too busy to take on any new jobs until September. Call me early summer." Bill is what gives contractors a bad name. Sure he might do good work, but he does not respect people's time and schedules. A simple, "Sorry, would love to help you, but we are booked through September" would have done fine at the first call. Terrible customer service and I imagine this speaks to how you might be treated as a client if he did manage to get in your door.

I wanted a new patio installed, the landing of my back porch replaced (which had broken off and left a hole) and extended to match the patio, the corner of the foundation patched, the front sidewalk slab replaced (that had broken away from the front porch and broken in half), and a hole in my front porch sealed so that the critters would stop using it as nest. My new patio is amazing - better than I could have imagined! The holes in my porch (front and back) are now sealed, I don't have to look at the missing foundation corner, and I don't have to worry about critters any more. :) I am VERY pleased with the work! Would definitely recommend them and will be calling them for future renovations and other concrete work.

The work has always been first class, their prices are reasonable, and the work has been done consistently on time. Most importantly, Miguel has been absolutely terrific to work with - everything you'd want in a contractor. We've since referred them to a wide diaspora of other friends and everyone has been happy we've done so. I highly recommend M Samora to any Yelpers looking for big or small projects.

They were given a huge remodeling job of our 3-bedroom apartment and they managed to screw up everything they touched. The dry wall they installed was patchy and wavy. The door jamb was crooked and had a hole the size of a finger up above it. They managed to get glue all over our very expensive wall paper. Completely ruined our oak doors, which now will cost a fortune to re stain. They tiled our bathroom using dry wall as a base!!!! Just thinking about everything they screwed up in our beautiful downtown apartment makes me so angry and so sad. Dealing with Miguel Samora, who is the owner of the company, was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. He is rude, he lied on multiple occasions and tried to screw us over in every possible way. We are now hiring a different crew that we found through a Better Business Bureau to redo pretty much everything Samora Construction worked on. They were such a disappointment on every level that I would advise you to stay far away from them.

From the start, the pricing was very reasonable and completely transparent. Even when additional work or extra care was needed, there were never any hidden charges. Any added costs were discussed with us beforehand and only moved forward with our approval. It feels rare to find a contractor who is genuinely trustworthy and stands by their quoted pricing. The entire team was friendly, professional, and a pleasure to have in our home each day. They took the time to talk through decisions with us and shared their decades of experience whenever we felt stuck, helping us make choices we were confident in. One moment that really stood out was when Chris arrived extra early one morning just to inspect a specific section of our built-in shelving. He told us the alignment had been keeping him up at night and wanted to come back with the right tools to make a cosmetic adjustment. It was one of many examples that showed how much he genuinely cared about the quality of the finished product rather than simply getting the job done as quickly as possible. It's hard to overstate how valuable that level of craftsmanship and pride in their work is. We couldn't be happier with the final result and would gladly recommend Chris and his team to anyone looking for a contractor they can trust.

He was the first person who understood my vision for gorgeous, handcrafted walnut cabinet and drawer fronts. Everyone else in the market was trying to sell me on laminate or a faux wood fabrication. Chris invited me to visit the company's shop before making my final decision. He welcomed me in, proudly shared their work, and even had a walnut sample made for me! That sealed the deal. They are true artisans. Long story short, I ended up hiring them not only for the cabinets, but for the entire kitchen remodel from countertops to lighting, electrical, painting, and appliance installation. They brought great ideas to the project -- and did it all in less than 3 weeks! The whole crew was so thoughtful, talented, and detail-oriented - and they kept my place as clean as possible during construction. I'm hiring them to remodel my bathrooms next!
