I called this company to talk about a kitchen renovation we are planning and to get an estimate and chat with someone about possibilities. The woman I talked to gave me an appointment time of 2-3pm today for Luis to come out and look at our place, take some measurements, etc. So I take the afternoon off work to be home for this. Luis texts me around 11am asking if he needs to provide insurance. I tell him for the renovation, yes, but not for today's appointment. No response, so I assume everything is fine. Come 2pm, I wait and wait and no one comes. At 2:30pm, I text Luis to ask if he is still coming. He calls me and tells me they are having issues with their insurance and they can't do the job since they can't provide insurance to our condo. It's really disappointing that no one told me ahead of time. Even when we were texting, he could've let me know that unfortunately, it wouldn't work out, but instead, I wasted half a day off and just sat around waiting for someone to show up. read more

Recently, my sister and her husband bought a house in Chicago and requested that I help them look for a kitchen renovation company since I'm the tech-savvy one in the family. I never really hired a contractor before so I was very apprehensive on the process, but their team took the time to explain to me in detail now only what game day would look like, but helped me with the material selection process as well. My only regret was not taking a "before" picture. I legit couldn't have done this job on my own, these guys showed up on time, not leaving me to wait 4 hours like other remodeling companies that quoted me, and came with equipment that didn't leave them having to paint for 2-3 days. I conducted a lot of research and came across Luis Kitchen and Bath Remodeling online. I was looking for a kitchen remodeling contractor and a bathroom remodeling contractor, and I am so glad I went with this company! I spoke with about 5 to 7 contractors and decided to go with Luis and his team. Luis seemed very professional, polite, and knowledge with his craft. The staff worked with me to carry out my vision for the 2 bathrooms and the main kitchen that needed remodeling. I am very picky and a bit of a perfectionist, but Luis and his staff worked with my vision very well! It was exactly how I wanted it to look. Luis made sure I was comfortable with every decision and made sure I knew about every little detail. They went above and beyond my expectations. The team was very detailed and professional. Luis and his staff were great with communication and answered all my questions in a timely manner. It has been 6 months since they finished our new bathrooms and kitchen, and it still looks absolutely amazing. I could not be happier. Everytime guests come over, I always get compliments on the new kitchen and thew new bathrooms.
