I hired Susan's Golden Painters a while back for my friend's office redecoration. I hired Susan's Golden Painters to paint my friend's office to help her feel more at home in her new office space as a gift. The company was a great fit for my budget and exceeded my expectations. My friend had just moved into the area upon graduating and we both didn't know where to find people to redecorate her new space! I found Susan's Golden Painters through a friend of a friend and thank GOODNESS I did. Since I just found their Yelp page, I thought I'd post to say thanks. Thank you for being such great, affordable painters. This company has quality house painters, truly. They are so nice, and I love their quality work, and my friend loves her office now. read more

I called this company to talk about a kitchen renovation we are planning and to get an estimate and chat with someone about possibilities. The woman I talked to gave me an appointment time of 2-3pm today for Luis to come out and look at our place, take some measurements, etc. So I take the afternoon off work to be home for this. Luis texts me around 11am asking if he needs to provide insurance. I tell him for the renovation, yes, but not for today's appointment. No response, so I assume everything is fine. Come 2pm, I wait and wait and no one comes. At 2:30pm, I text Luis to ask if he is still coming. He calls me and tells me they are having issues with their insurance and they can't do the job since they can't provide insurance to our condo. It's really disappointing that no one told me ahead of time. Even when we were texting, he could've let me know that unfortunately, it wouldn't work out, but instead, I wasted half a day off and just sat around waiting for someone to show up. read more

Susan's Golden Painters came to the rescue! Needed a paint job for my grandparents new home (a fixer upper) and called Susan's Golden Painters. My grandparents are trying to save money so they needed cheap painting contractors. Luckily these were also quality house painters. They were super professional and were honest painters. We couldn't be more satisfied with the job they did. They were very respectful to my grandparents and kept the lines of communication completely open. I never had to worry. If I had any questions, they were answered quickly and thoroughly. On top of that, the house looks GREAT! My grandparents and the entire family are completely satisfied. It's hard to come by honest painters these days, especially at this price! I will recommend them to anyone in need of quality house painters without any hesitation. read more

How do I say this? After Luis' Golden Painters & Remodeling came to my house, it looked completely brand new! The staff did an AMAZING job with the painting and remodeling around the whole house. In particular, I loved how they did the kitchen remodel! The design and colors were very modern and carefully constructed. My family was very satisfied with their work. If you're looking for an affordable kitchen renovation, then this is the place to go to! The staff are super kind and will definitely go out of their way to meet your expectations. Recently, my sister and her husband bought a house in Chicago and requested that I help them look for a kitchen renovation company since I'm the tech-savvy one in the family. My family has had a long history of terrible contractors who would often do a poor job or downright flake as soon as they were paid. When I gave Luis' a call, instantly I can tell they were going to be different. The polite man was super professional and understanding and we had a really nice conversation on how this process works. This held true when we met them in person and they were just as courteous and helpful. Not only did we get a good price for the kitchen remodel, but they made sure they got every detail we wanted down to the T and answered any questions we had immediately. Perfect communication compared to the ones we had in the past The kitchen looks amazing now! Like one of the kitchens you see on TV advertisements. The slate color they helped us choose really just looks so slick and clean. These guys are that good and I would definitely recommend them for any kitchen remodel in the future! read more

When I visited the Chicago area in July, it was apparent that a family friend was in desperate need of a kitchen renovation (it was in terrible condition). After looking through many contractors and painters, we decided on Luis' Golden Painters & Remodeling. Let me tell you: they truly exceeded our expectations. When my friend first moved in, her kitchen was in such dismal shape, with very dull walls with paint chipping off. It was a big health issue because they just had their first newborn. However, after consultation from Luis' about pricing and their scope of work, they started almost immediately. The kitchen remodel turned out very well! We went over all the colors, and they had some nice recommendations that made the kitchen look spacier. It really brought their house together. Their pricing is also very fair, and they provided us with a free quote, which was quite helpful. If you are looking for painters in the Chicago area, I highly recommend them! read more

We recently moved into a new home that had quite an outdated bathroom and wanted to give it a little bit of a makeover. Luis did a wonderful job with the remodeling and was very friendly and professional throughout the entire process. He and his team work hard and make sure that you are happy with the end results. We couldn't be happier with the final results of the bathroom remodel. I highly recommend Luis to anyone who is looking to refresh their home! read more

I just moved into my new apartment but the interior design was quite old and had a old scent to it. It was a great location within my preferred vicinity to my workplace and everything about this new apartment was great except that "old feel," which I actually did not mind spending money to fix that. The overall design and material used in my apartment were just too outdated so everything needed to be remodeled. I looked up several contractors over the internet and finally picked Luis Kitchen and Bath remodeling. I was still hesitant so I gave them a call to inquire more details and ask for a quote. From the start (phone call) to the end of the kitchen remodeling service, they were simply amazing! The crew of kitchen contractors came on time and finished everything in such a short amount of time considering the amount of work they had to do. They painted my cabinets all over again and now they look so much nicer, the exact modern style I wanted. Now my whole apartment looks brand new thanks to them. The kitchen cabinet painting in particular was remarkable. Everything was applied really smoothly even though the conditions of the cabinets were not the greatest. The new design and color selections of paint were recommended by the team and I am very satisfied with their choice. The team was very friendly too. Overall, it is definitely a wonderful company and they are able to solve my problem in a short amount of time (given my availability and schedule) with such affordable pricing. read more

I never really hired a contractor before so I was very apprehensive on the process, but their team took the time to explain to me in detail now only what game day would look like, but helped me with the material selection process as well. My only regret was not taking a "before" picture. I legit couldn't have done this job on my own, these guys showed up on time, not leaving me to wait 4 hours like other remodeling companies that quoted me, and came with equipment that didn't leave them having to paint for 2-3 days. Overall process was painless and quick. I'll most likely have them do the kitchen cabinets next read more

My mom and I recently moved into a new home in Oak Park which we intended to gut renovate. As an historical home in somewhat of a state of disrepair, we were in search of a team of exterior painters to repaint the wood siding on the back of our home. The results we received from the Golden Painters team was beyond anything we could have expected. The team took great care in ensuring that every detail was carried out meticulously, and truly returned the house to its former glory. Susan's team of quality house painters are without a doubt the best in the business. The job was finished quickly and to a degree competence I honestly hadn't expected. Ive recommended this service to friends in the area and they too have been delighted by the results. If we are ever in need of future exterior painting, I'll know who to go to! Bravo to this team! read more

I am happy I came across Susan's Golden painters. I am having a little girl next month and contacted Susan's to paint her room. They were very helpful with helping me choose a beautiful pink color. They send out quality house painters, that get the job done and listened efficiently to how I wanted things done. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for affordable painters. The painters came in, even helped me move items out of the way and got the task done within the same day. My husband and I are looking to paint the rest of the house after the baby is here and we will definitely contact Susan's. I loved the customer service. There was no hassle setting up an appointment and I couldn't emphasize enough how affordable the cost was. After price checking around, Susan's is by far the best in the area. read more

Susan's Golden Painters repainted one of the bedrooms in my home. The paint from the last job was starting to chip off, and I needed it to be fixed quickly. After researching several different painters, I found that they were definitely the most affordable painters. I was on a budget so I was happy that they were able to work within my means and offered me a very reasonable price. They were on time, efficient, and very helpful in answering my questions. They were very thorough, and my bedroom looks great! The room looked pristine after they left. I've had my rooms painted before, and I can say that they are definitely quality house painters. We recently engaged Luis Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling to renovate our home. We are extremely satisfied with our choice of kitchen remodeling contractors and bathroom remodeling contractors. We spent several months discussing styles and color scheme where they presented multiple options for us to choose from. They are professional and very patient, as together, we continued to change and revise the plans until we were completely satisfied with the layout and design of our kitchen and bathroom. The design meetings were always productive and never rushed. We appreciated the frequency and availability of the meetings as well. They don't have a license, come in gave us the estimate and then after our building asked for a copy of their license they called and said " we have too many jobs right now so we can't help you any longer." Would not recommend them. read more

I conducted a lot of research and came across Luis Kitchen and Bath Remodeling online. I was looking for a kitchen remodeling contractor and a bathroom remodeling contractor, and I am so glad I went with this company! I spoke with about 5 to 7 contractors and decided to go with Luis and his team. Luis seemed very professional, polite, and knowledge with his craft. The staff worked with me to carry out my vision for the 2 bathrooms and the main kitchen that needed remodeling. I am very picky and a bit of a perfectionist, but Luis and his staff worked with my vision very well! It was exactly how I wanted it to look. Luis made sure I was comfortable with every decision and made sure I knew about every little detail. They went above and beyond my expectations. The team was very detailed and professional. Luis and his staff were great with communication and answered all my questions in a timely manner. It has been 6 months since they finished our new bathrooms and kitchen, and it still looks absolutely amazing. I could not be happier. Everytime guests come over, I always get compliments on the new kitchen and thew new bathrooms.
