I asked if they sold smaller amounts, you know like Lowes and Homedepot do. I was told you need this much paint to really see what it would look like. Well that was bad advice as I now have 5 almost full quarts of paint that I don't need. What a waste of money. So don't make the mistake I made and pick the nice Sherwin-Williams and then go to Lowes and they will make you up the same paint in a small amount that only costs $3.99, not the $8.99 they charged me.

Granted, you don't know exactly what you are getting (it's recycled, so me thinks they mix a bunch of similar cans together, say whites and may be flat to eggshell), so if you just need paint without much sheen for walls, it's a good buy. My only caution on the big buckets is that it may not be a full 5 gallons worth (not complaining, I love the deal as is), but if you think you will need the full 5, you might want to get an extra can. My 5-gallon bucket did not seem as full as the last 5-gallon bucket I bought at Lowe's, so maybe it was closer to 4.5 gallons. I budgeted 5 gallons, but my estimate erred on the high side, so I was nervous when it cane down to the last coat in the last room, but I made it with a pint to spare for touch ups. Friendly staff and a good assortment. So many types and colors. And if they don't have your shade, they can custom mix for an additional fee (something like $10-$15 for 5 gallons, so still a significant savings over hardware/paint shops. The saleswoman called me back with the additional information the next day. That's what I call excellent customer service! Upon inspection, the new owner found the instructions etched on the door. When I first decided to purchase a foreclosure, my mind was racing with decisions and options of…read morewhat absolutely needed to be renovated and how much it would cost. At first I was ruling out new cabinets because I thought I would definitely not have money in my budget and I initially researched re-facing options. Big mistake! The estimates I got from the re-facing companies were horribly expensive especially given that they would not be installing brand new cabinets. My contractor (that was working on other projects) suggested I go to Cabinets to Go and I'm so glad I did! I was able to get brand new cabinets for an extremely low price and while they aren't completely customized, you can somewhat design your cabinet layout and choose what types of drawers and cabinets you want and where they will be placed. There are several color options and styles to choose from and the quality is excellent. If you feel confident in your measurements, or you have a trusted contractor to take measurement's for you, then definitely consider cabinets to go as an option. They do not come out and measure like other more expensive kitchen design centers. I also suggest visiting on a week day if your schedule allows as the weekends get busy and you may have to wait a while to work with a representative at their showroom/store. It takes about two weeks for your cabinets to come in once they are ordered. There were a couple minor issues, like missing pieces to my order, but when I called they were ordered and sent. Overall I am pleased with the look of the finished installation. If you are going to install yourself or you have a reasonable contractor, this place is by far an excellent and affordable choice for your kitchen renovations!
