My husband and I recently purchased a house in Charlotte, NC and plan to move in February, 2018. Because we currently live and work in PA we needed to work with a company that could design and order the kitchen here and have them shipped to NC. Alicia was our designer and presented us with a kitchen plan that was just what we wanted. She came up with 2 - 3 different designs. This house is 3300 square ft so you can imagine the size of this kitchen. After a few tweaks we ordered the cabinets, a little nervous not knowing what to expect. Alicia made us feel very comfortable that they would be there to help us along the way, even from Charlotte, NC. The cabinets came, we put them together ourselves, very easy to do and ran into a snag with the Lazy Susan cabinet. No instructions on how to install shelves or door hardware. I contacted Alicia and she sent us a link for a video that walked us through the process. Next, after getting the cabinets laid out according to design, I decided I didn't like the look of the end cabinet and contacted Alicia and over the phone she walked us though a few options which were great and she ordered the 2 cabinets for us and they arrived in about 10 days. Not a problem because we go back and forth to Charlotte, NC every couple of weeks. A few other minor issues arrived with trim and mounding installation so we stopped by the store in DE and Curtis was so helpful and his recommendations were spot on. We did this at least 3-4 times. Thank goodness for patience employees! They always made such a great effort to assist my husband who I might add has very little patience when it comes to construction. I will say Curtis and Alicia gave him 100% of their attention. Kudos!! We also had to contact the customer service because one of the doors was cracked and one cabinet had the hardware in the wrong place and they too were just wonderful. 2 news cabinets were shipped to us in a week. This was definitely a great experience for us especially not knowing anything about Cabinets to Go. The cabinets are absolutely beautiful and great quality...not particle board or laminate doors. Thank you Alicia for all your help with the new kitchen in our soon to be new home. Curtis, like you said, "it is an evolution." Thank you for all your words of encouragement. I would highly recommend buying from Cabinets To Go and most definitely make the journey to the Delaware store and ask for Alicia or Curtis although everyone there was awesome! My dad had recommended Cabinets To Go after three successful trips to the NJ locations for three kitchen remodels. We found the store in Delaware and after comparing the prices to both particle board and plywood cabinets at Home Depot and Lowes, Cabinets To Go was the clear winner. The prices were close to the particle board junk cabinets at Lowes/Home Depot, but matched if not exceeded the quality of the plywood ones. When we went into the store, Sean was right there to great us with a smile, and took all our measurement information and quickly entered it into the program to design the kitchen. He was so patient when we had forgotten to bring the measurement of the full wall (duh! bad us!) and did some quick thinking to help solve that problem, AND allowed us to lock in the sale price while waiting on our phone call to make sure we did have the measurement correct. It was just nice how much he worked with us. Our cabinets came in 10 days, as they said (7-10 days was what we were told) and picking them up was a breeze thanks to Sean's willingness to do almost all of the work loading and wrapping the boxes in plastic because it was raining. Even though it was right at the edge of quitting time for him, he did this with a smile on his face and was just genuinely so nice. I can't think of anyone I've bought something from that was as great as Sean was. The cabinets look great, and sturdy, and the money we saved by buying from Cabinets To Go is amazing. This is about four months overdue but I owe it to leave my thoughts about my new kitchen and floor. As you can see from my before picture, my kitchen was seriously dated and the floor was hideous. I got awesome cabinets from them. I looked around and ended up seriously getting cabinets and floor and had it installed for less than two of the quotes I had for just cabinets alone. I didn't believe it but it happened. I got the shakers you can see in my after picture and the vinyl floor from cabinets to go. Special thanks to Curtis for going over all the details of my design with me to make sure I got what I wanted. The kitchen really does function better now thanks to his input. Also want to say that VJ construction, they did all the install, was great to work with. Vinnie and his crew know their stuff and the finished job looks great! I had friends over earlier who were just seeing it for the first time today and they loved it, reminded me to do this tonight. I'm an interior designer. I was skeptical walking in because I thought cabinets to go was either going to be expensive or low quality products. The look of the all wood shaker cabinets when I walked in changed my perception quickly. The selection as I looked deeper into the store was also impressive. Now the pricing. Lower than I expected as I had just left Home Depot but I also noticed all of the promotions available. Long story short, I've designed 5 kitchens in total with cabinets to go and they've all gone flawlessly. I would like to start by saying I am not an expert on any of the work I did. I installed new cabinets in my kitchen and I have to say I was blown away by how easy this process was with the Naamans Rd team. They were super friendly and really knew their stuff. I simply made sure I had the right measurements for my area and they designed the cabinet layout to work perfectly with the space. The virtual screen they have on site allowed us to see our design and make adjustments based on our wants. These cabinets were so easy to put together and were really well designed. I was very happy with the engineering and quality. I was so pleased with all the fit and finish and the team nailed our layout perfectly. Everyone said make sure not to scrimp on the hardware. I bought my house a little over 3 years ago and it has an old, very outdated and hard to look at appearance. Not to mention, the layout is awkward and I didn't have a dishwasher so I finally decided it was time to remodel. These guys are awesome and offer high quality yet very reasonably priced cabinets. After extensive smart shopping, We purchased cabinets for our DYI Master Bathroom gut. Alicia and Curtis' design expertise was fantastic and everyone there was so friendly and took personal interest in our project. They generated computer renditions of our ideas and improved on them. No stress / pressure like the other places we shopped at and we saved a lot of money and got a very functional design. The quote was so far less, we were reluctant. Purchasing here turned out to be the best decision. Cabinets are in flat boxes, easy to transport in our SUV, and a snap to assemble. The final computer drawing generated a parts list of all the components that we needed. Project turned out great. After shopping for kitchen cabinets at several places including the big box stores we decided to take a drive to Cabinets to Go. What a great decision, we were met by the store manager and he explained everything in detail to us, he even took the drawing we had done by an Architect and made the layout better. We did not go there with the intention to purchase but we did and the entire experience has been great from the cabinets themselves to the awesome customer service when we had questions.
