Paoli Rug Company Dr. Karen Jensen…read more Recently moved to area and contacted Paoli Rug company about cleaning a large Oriental that my movers had badly abused. The owners were courteous, polite ,and very Knowledgeable. Nader came to the house and accessed the damage and very concisely explained what needed to be done. He checked all stains and looked for mold and moth damage as well. He gave me a very reasonable price quote and told me I would have it back in 10 days. I told him I have a sick child and that smells and chemicals would be a problem. He explained that the washing is done by hand and with nothing harmful and no odor! He then took it to his store.I also needed new padding and he advised me on the best for my needs. When he returned it ( on time exactly), it looked better than when I purchased it. The stains were all gone and the pile gleamed and was fluffy , and it had no smell. The recommended padding was perfect. He arranged it beautifully in my room and even gave me time to decide if I wanted to change the placement. He was patient and courteous and very aware of the other pieces in the room so as to cause no damage. Everything about this company and its owners is First rate. They are a touch of class in a world that too often forgets what that is . Integrity all the way. I would never go anywhere else for my carpet needs !! Anyone reading this : they are the only rug company you will ever need!!!! A++++ all the way. I feel blessed to have found them! Thank you both!

I am so very happy with the work Paoli Rug did to repair my family heirloom!…read moreMy parents had a wall hanging rug in their home for over 50 years and I wanted to use it on the floor in my house. The fringe was completely dried out and the rug was beginning to unravel. We decided to bind the rug and the work to accomplish that--all by hand--was amazing! The rug looks fabulous! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Also--I had a second, very old silk carpet which we all decided wasn't worth repairing, which speaks to the honesty of the owners. Great communication too!

They installed a hardwood floor, feathering it into an existing hardwood floor and refinished 2,000 sq of existing hardwood which had been cupped from temperature extremes. Their price was about 25% lower than the other quote we got. The crew is clean and professional. They sealed all areas with plastic and there was zero dust in the house. The results were absolutely perfect -- and we are very particular and often disappointed with contract work. In 2012, we decided to lay hardwood in another room that abuts a large expanse of the hardwood they refinished four years ago. We only considered one company. We did not get another quote as their price was the same per sf as four years ago and, honestly, we knew we were going to use them anyway. Once again, they did not let us down. It is very hard to install, sand and coat hardwood butting up to 25 feet of existing hardwood without some evidence that it was not done as one install. But, believe me, they did it. It is absolutely perfect.

I selected this carpet company since they are local and wanted to support a local business…read more The lady at the shop was very knowledgable about carpets and very helpful as i was making decisions for an entire house . The owner, also very knowledgable, was the one who came to measure the house timely, as agreed upon. Their pricing was also very competitive. So i ordered all the different carpeting and it came in as promised and was timely installed. And here is the reason why i did not give the highest rating, even though my experience at every level was very good with this shop...the owner's son installed all the carpeting; rooms and 3 level stairs. The installation is not as high qulaity as i expected and had experience with previously. I had to call them out to restrech the carpets since it buckled in one week. I also now notice on the stairs the carpets not finished well, where it looks cut into at the corners...looks very unprofessionally done. But they were responsive and came out to fix work. Upon my experience, my children ordered carpets from them and had no issues at all, all the carpets were installed correctly at their house.
