Granted, you don't know exactly what you are getting (it's recycled, so me thinks they mix a bunch of similar cans together, say whites and may be flat to eggshell), so if you just need paint without much sheen for walls, it's a good buy. My only caution on the big buckets is that it may not be a full 5 gallons worth (not complaining, I love the deal as is), but if you think you will need the full 5, you might want to get an extra can. My 5-gallon bucket did not seem as full as the last 5-gallon bucket I bought at Lowe's, so maybe it was closer to 4.5 gallons. I budgeted 5 gallons, but my estimate erred on the high side, so I was nervous when it cane down to the last coat in the last room, but I made it with a pint to spare for touch ups. Friendly staff and a good assortment. So many types and colors. And if they don't have your shade, they can custom mix for an additional fee (something like $10-$15 for 5 gallons, so still a significant savings over hardware/paint shops. I'm coming back for all my paint projects!! Update on hours: M-F 9-2. T, W, Th also 3-5 (closed 2-3 for lunch or siesta :-); Sat 10-4; closed Sundays.

When I…read morewalked in I was given some space to acclimate myself to the store but when I was ready for help I was given excellent advice, attentive care and feel thrilled with the choices I made. Keep an eye out for one of the guys that works there named Joe. He really knows his stuff. (I bet everyone who works there knows their stuff) The crazy thing is that I went in with a color in mind and he actually seem to of read my mind and showed me that color before I asked for it. Out of all of the colors in the world! I didn't feel pressured one way or the other but I felt secure. When I mentioned a friends dining room that was painted a shiny lacquer remembered the actual color. The people who are painting my cabinets will come in to the shop and work with him to get the right Sheen and equipment. I feel very confident working with Benjamin Moore paint. In Wayne. I know that the parking is not as ideal as some of the other paint stores in the area but it's worth it. Give Benjamin Moore a shot you will be happy. It's also worth noting that they carry very fancy British paint that would need an expert to administer. Someday I will have the best looking glossy front doors. For now I will stick to my cabinets.

When she brought it home, I saw the receipt and immediately noticed that it was sold at a price the was extraordinarily high. Like, REALLY high - even for Ben Moore. I went to verify my concern about what price point my mom was sold and a comparable item at HoPo was 1/4 the price. The price was especially high because she explained its use; to stain the wood legs on a new foot stool. Hardly a project that required a high end custom stain. When I went to the store the salesman was there and was open to discussing what happened for my mom that lead my mom to believe this high price was what was truly needed for her tiny project. The manager was present during the entire conversation with the employee and at one point jumped in and was immediately extremely assertive; exactly the opposite of the sales person. The manager was consistently denying any responsibility...even after his employee acknowledge he understood how it may have been confusing to my mom and apologized to me. All in front of the manager. Not the manager; he behaved in extreme opposition to the established sales philosophy of 'The customer is always right.' I am sure the store will object to my review for many reasons that are likely inaccurate...but if they do you will be best served to analyze if they are worthy of your business by looking at whatever retort they made but in the context of whether their rebuttal is still valid if the original sale was made as it should have been and supported by the employee as improper. There is no valid objection that could warrant this manager's behavior once the original error is consider as the cause...and all the negative treatment by the manager solely the effect which warrants this type of review. There are other options that are of equal quality and I would suggest looking into those options; I strongly advise to not shop at this particular Ben Moore if that is still your manufacturing preference. Other Ben Moore stores are also available for consideration. I hope this is useful to other shoppers.

After Behr paint failed me twice in the past few year I'm done. Now that Sherwin Williams own Valspar why not just used the actual real paint. Rated highest, cost can be a little higher but if buy it on a sale it's cheaper. The last sale was 30% and the one before was 40% all paints. I love Emerald for exterior because it goes on thick to cover some of my older homes age blemishes. Extreme bond primer might be overkill but it works great and give me confidence in a lasting paint job.

This is our new go-to paint store. One caution: their roadside sign is small and you can miss it easily. They are directly across the road from Giant. Keep an eye out or you'll miss them. We were scheduled for a delivery and received multiple SMS updates showing the drivers' distance and expected arrival time. Despite this, our Ring camera never activated, and neither my husband nor I received a phone call indicating that the delivery team had arrived. When my husband attempted to call the number provided for "Jose," who had been texting delivery updates, there was no answer. Shortly afterward, we were informed that our delivery would need to be rescheduled--seven days out--with no refund for the delivery fee, despite the failed attempt being no fault of ours. After speaking with three different managers, the customer service we received was consistently poor. We were offered only a $100 credit instead of the full refund we requested for the delivery charge. In researching further, I've now learned that this type of unprofessional behavior is unfortunately common for Bob's Discount Furniture. Needless to say, we will not be returning as customers. We can only hope the furniture quality is better than the service we have received so far. If you value reliability and professionalism, I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere--Raymour & Flanigan or Ashley would have been the better choice in hindsight. Stay away from this business!
