I spoke with Michelle at the Wayne location to ensure that this discount was happening and she was able to walk me through the kind and grade I'd need as well as give me a price quote over the phone. ($39 and some change for a gallon of mid grade satin paint) The day I went to pick up the paint, Allen helped me out. He did a great job, but seemed kind of nervous (might be new.) I left with the color I wanted at the price I was quoted, so I consider it a win. It wasn't the cheapest option, but the paint speaks for itself. And we only needed one coat on the whole room and the mid-grade coverage I purchased really makes the room pop. Highly recommended.

After Behr paint failed me twice in the past few year I'm done. Now that Sherwin Williams own Valspar why not just used the actual real paint. Rated highest, cost can be a little higher but if buy it on a sale it's cheaper. The last sale was 30% and the one before was 40% all paints. I love Emerald for exterior because it goes on thick to cover some of my older homes age blemishes. Extreme bond primer might be overkill but it works great and give me confidence in a lasting paint job.

We went there during their 40% sale on all interior paint. We didn't really like their color…read moreselections, but they do match color from Benjamin Moore whose color selection we liked more. We got their Emerald paint but its coverage wasn't as good as we expected. It might be better to start with primer first. The staff there was not that helpful. We didn't like the paint brushes we got there, but found better ones at Home Depot and True Values. Also, they have 40% off on paint from time to time. My suggestion would be finding a color you want and waiting for the sale to get it.

We have always used Sherwin Williams and were pleased to find out that they had an outlet near us. Veronica the sales associate who assisted us was so friendly and helpful. She answered all our questions and provided us with color samples. The store has coffee, tea and cookies for the customers. They even had lollipops and Tootsie Rolls for kids who visited. It is always nice to give you business to local people. It is even better to have that personal touch even if you spend a little more. We will be getting our paint here.

This is to review Garden Shoppe's seasonal produce. (We have yet to experience the plant nursery…read moreitems.) We'd seen this place many times when stopping at Braxton's for pet food. Finally tried them for veggies the other day and we were really pleased. We normally get non-organic produce from Gentile's in Newtown Sq if/when it's decent quality (prices can't be beat, but quality is sometimes lacking), or we trek to Wolff's in Media for better quality (which you pay for there). What made the Garden Shoppe helpful to us is its convenience to the nearby Acme and Rite Aid we use, and the quality we got for the price. Quality can sometimes be on par with Wolff's, but with lower prices than Wolff's. They did not have the selection of the Wolff's or other larger produce stores, so expect what one might find at a roadside produce stand, not a full market. But for basics, they filled our need very well. One complaint was the corn. Places like Wolff's will normally let you husk it there, and if you get a half-brown dud, you don't end up paying for it. Wolff's has a lot of pride and does not want to sell you something like that. At the Garden Shoppe there is no means of husking, and we have ended up with 40% of our ears in really bad shape (half the kernels missing, worms, rot, etc.), so if they could set up a husking station it would be a great relief. For the other items, though, we're glad we finally tried them, and are sorry we didn't do it years sooner.
