The staff were so exhausted. They didn't want to help me. One guy was beyond unprofessional and acted like I was a huge inconvenience. I spent over $1000 in the last week at this store. When I asked for the discount they were advertising- they seemed upset. When I asked the pricing of the stain they said that was the 2023 price and it has gone up 7 dollars a gallon yet they were advertising the 2023 price. The other thing is - I speak and understand Spanish...they didn't realize this obviously. Corporate needs to send in "a secret shopper" ...they would be horrified! read more

Our favorite place to get paint and supplies in Walla Walla. They're always very helpful, and give insight to our projects! they're great with returns and pricing. They even changed remixed our paint when we asked. read more

This review may be short but unfortunately not sweet. My first experience with this store was positive. Being a DIY person, I got good advice and a quality product (though the price seemed expensive). I figured you get what you pay for. I came in a second time for bathroom paint and unbeknownst to me was recommended and sold the wrong paint (one for cabinets and doors) that was $92.00. It took 3 coats to cover my small bathroom (the whole gallon) with the wrong paint. In returning to buy more bathroom paint, I mentioned the need for 3 coats and was informed I was sold the wrong paint for the job. I then suggested some compensation on buying my next gallon, as it was the incorrect paint for bathroom humidity, it was more expensive, and it was unnecessarily labor intensive. To compensate me they offered 30% my next gallon, though there was a current sale for 30% off going on at the time. This seemed unfair. I asked to talk to the manager Jamie (in the back room), but he was too busy to talk me. I like the paint. I don't like the price. I don't have a high regard for their customer service, nor for the way the manager dealt with me as a retail end user. I have been in customer service for most of my life. If I were the manager, I would have given me the new gallon for no to low cost, as well as taken a moment to connect. I will not darken their door again. If I need quality paint I will try Gary's or somewhere else. The commercial folks with big accounts can go there. They don't need retail folks who don't buy volume. Spent lots of time looking at wallpaper books. Finally made a decision and called the 800 number only to be told that book should not be on the shelf. It was discontinued in 2019 and the print I wanted was completely out of stock. Called the store manager to let Them know to remove old books and they said those were from the old manager. Also while spending time there I heard many customer exchanges. The only person I would trust and who sounds like they know what they are talking about is the girls who has worked there for some time. read more

Took a paint sample for a match to touch up a wall. Purchased a gallon for the job, at 55.00. Got home and the paint wasn't even close to a match, to the wall I took a sample from. Unusable. Took it back was informed they are not responsible for match failures. Very annoying and on top of that, I was never informed of this policy when I made the purchase. I left the 55 00 can of paint on the counter. Customer service when I bought the was like I was a bother. Poor service and bad outcome. No Bueno!!!! read more

My husband and I went in yesterday afternoon to get a few gallons of paint, there was one employee that we saw and he was on what sounded to be a personal phone call with his mask pulled down around his neck. We looked around at paint colors for a bit and he saw us multiple times before we headed to the counter to order paint. We then waited for 10 minutes while he ignored us and continued with his phone call. Very disappointed by the customer service or lack there of. I was never impressed by the customer service or products in comparison to other paint stores (Gary's, Wal-Mart, Home Depot). It's seems every time I've shopped here, the customer service keeps getting worse. There is 1 in particular that just seems lazy and unwilling to help and kind of rude.... and on top of that its at least double the cost of anywhere else you go. Plus the wait time is longer than it needs to be (in comparison to any other paint stores in town). If you want to keep it local, go to Gary's Paint Decorating. They have fabulous friendly customer service reps that know what they're talking about and willing to help. If you want to save time and money, make a quick trip to Wal-Mart or Home Depot. They can match any Sherwin-Williams color! read more
