Their sales staff and phone operators are hands-down the rudest people I've encountered in any customer service role. It's like they're annoyed that you're even calling or showing up in person. we decided to give them one more chance, thinking maybe things had improved. Big mistake. Same rude treatment, same incompetence, same total disregard for the ocustomer. Never again. Avoid Ferguson if you value basic courtesy and competent service. There are plenty of other suppliers who will treat you like a paying customer instead of an inconvenience. 1 star only because I have to pick something.

I used to work in Seaside and would dread having go to Home Depot. At Ace, I can ask nearly any employee where something is and they will tell my down to within a couple of feet. Good luck finding that at a large box store. Plus, their selection for a store its size, is pretty amazing. The specialty items they have are very impressive. I mean they have a whole aisle for just nuts, bolts, and fasteners. I also find it nice, but this isn't most stores fault they're just protecting their inventory, it's pleasant to not have to ask someone to open up cabinets to buy things because it's all under lock and key. I realize that I could probably get a lot of the things that Ace sells for less online or some place like Home Depot. I don't mind paying more when you get good service and can accomplish your project today to pay a bit more. I don't buy at Ace because I need to, it's because I want to, based on the way I'm treated and that means a lot to me.

Primarily an expensive bathtub that they sold to me a one of the most durable tubs for the price of a 1000.00. They do have some beautiful things in their store but beware after the sale you are on your own. Management made it very clear that all responsibility lies on the customer and whomever installed. I think this is why they said they don't do installation. We have followed every direction they gave us and a crack appeared in our tub by the drain. When I felt it, the top material felt paper thin. So much for the solid tub. When I called he gave me the number for permanent ceram and would not help me at all practically hanging up on me. I had called before about it feeling a bit un sturdy. Even after I had purchased things, when I would question anything they were defensive. Really bad customer service. Mean. They do not stand behind their products. This is my experience with them. Will never refer or go back again.

I purchased a sink and fixtures for both my kitchen and bathroom remodel from Del Rey Plumbing…read more They have an extensive showroom of high-quality products and know their stuff. It was important to me to be able to see and compare products as well as ask questions. The sales reps were great; no pressure, but willing to answer any questions and point me in the right direction. What is prompting me to write this review, though, is Del Rey's follow-up service. Four years after purchasing Newport Brass brand products from Del Rey (shower and sink fixtures), they developed leaks and my plumber said the defective parts should be under warranty. My plumber said to call Newport Brass directly, which I did. I got a customer service rep who was reasonably helpful, but was unsure if I needed one or two parts, so she transferred me to someone in technical support. That person treated me with incredible rudeness. He raised his voice at me and ultimately told me to call the store where I bought the products. I was shocked. I in no way deserved such treatment. I almost cried it felt so upsetting. So, I called Del Rey Plumbing. I explained the problems my plumber had identified and explained how rudely I was spoken to when I called Newport Brass. The customer service rep at Del Rey was incredibly upset on my behalf. Not only did she take action to get the replacement parts, she assured me she would be talking to her Newport Brass rep about the unacceptable customer service from his company. I wouldn't buy Newport Brass products again, but I would replace them and anything else at Del Rey Plumbing any day! :)

Returning the home depot and lowes garbage. Lowes is good for like appliances but when it comes to needing 1 tool they only sell $40 sets. Whereas at Harbor Freight, more often than not, you can buy just the 1 tool you need. I can't believe they literally had everything I was looking for here. I will definitely come here first next time. Oh and I also had the same experience last year buying a tool chest. Harbor Freight had nicer sliding drawer mechanisms and better size and it was on some holiday sale so for like $100 less I got what I feel like was a better product. This seems to be the recurring theme in all of my experiences with this store. You pay much less and get what you need. I will be back again and again!

I work for a company that can only purchase from certain vendors so it can be hard to get things from companies outside of our network. I'd been searching for a specific Polywood Adirondack chair in Brazilian Walnut for going on three weeks and Carlos came through for me in a way that the previous places I tried could not. Carlos even reached out to the company that makes the chairs to help me get the 3 side tables I needed which were not in the ACE Hardware system. Thank you Carlos for your kindness, excellent customer service, and tenacity!
