4 1/2 Stars I just…read moreshopped at the Rohnert Park Kelly-Moore Paints today and was so pleased to discover that the former manager, Karissa, has returned! Another pleasant and welcome surprise are new female employees to the Rohnert Park store. Anna is a fairly recent transfer to this store and she has such a wonderful attitude and beautiful smile. Jennaca is still there, but Shane has transferred to become a manager of another Kelly-Moore location. I value two things most when shopping; quality of service from the employees, and quality of product I am buying. Kelly-Moore Rohnert Park now has a great staff whom I respect for both their professionalism and their sincere friendliness. I personally feel that any work environment greatly benefits from the addition of women. The fact that the Rohnert Park Kelly-Moore has at least as many women as men makes it feel more balanced, and for me, a more personable place to shop. I continue to love all the various caulking, sealing, and priming products Kelly-Moore manufactures. Unfortunately, I still do not think Kelly-Moore paint itself is in the same league as industry front runner Benjamin Moore. I have not found any paint anywhere as high a quality as Benjamin Moore Aura products. That being said, Kelly-Moore Paints is located conveniently near my home. All the other products Kelly-Moore sells is great quality and I will continue to shop there for those items. The Rohnert Park store has a knowledgeable, experienced group of painting pros that I enjoy seeing and talking with. I needed some more paint but the label with the color was pretty tore up and you could not see the color. I took a picture of the label and they were not only able to tell me the color, but they produced a hand written 3" x 5" card with paint sample on the card from 10 years ago. I was helped by Jose and Sam and both gentlemen were very knowledgeable. They helped us pick out some brushes and educated us on a few painting tips. They load the paint in your car for you and the entire customer experience was very good. I highly recommend this company. Paint Quality - The paint on my house is 10 years old and is still in very good shape. When I applied the new paint to my house there was almost no color difference between the 10 year old paint and the new paint, I was extremely impressed.

Most recently, I had some questions about dry rot repairs that a carpenter had completed during the exterior job. Spent 15 minutes, looking for a cart and no one could help me find one. I almost gave up. I was then directed to go out in the parking lot. I found where all the flat carts are - way out in the parking lot. Because they are hard to move, they put it on the customer to bring them in from the front. So if you're in the appliances aisle or decide to buy something that's in a big box, you need to go directly to the outer parking lot and fetch yourself a flat cart. Not joking.

JW then subcontracted the job out to others who were completely unqualified for the work. It took MONTHS for the floors to be finished, and even when they were "done," I had to spend more time and money hiring someone else to fix their mistakes, because I didn't trust JW to touch anything else in my new home. They eventually had to come back for heavy-duty repairs because of major errors during the install. As a result, I ended up with damaged walls and floors--the very things I had just paid for. I see zero value in The Home Depot, JW Floors, or any of their contractors. The Home Depot was also a nightmare throughout the process, which has guaranteed I'll never give them my business again. The photos attached are from JW Floors AFTER they had "fixed" the mistakes. I didn't want them doing any painting or spackling because I had no faith in their ability and didn't want more damage. These photos show the quality of work they consider acceptable. When I asked the person sent to "help" the sub-subcontractors if he was proud of the final result, he actually said yes. If this is what they consider prideful work, they need to reassess. My advice: hire local. Find someone you can actually talk to and reach when there's a problem. This entire experience showed me how little anyone involved cared. They didn't even bother pretending to care. Terrible. 0/5.

He facilitated the guy who fixed the facia, and I didn't have to do a thing to make that happen!
