Unfortunately I've been to others around here and they aren't nearly as fast or knowledgeable. I've been here a few times now and they almost know what I need just from a description of what I'm looking for. It's quite impressive. If you have a choice of this store or another one that may be a little closer, I would head here because you will probably save time overall.

On my first visit, I was surprised by the lack of service. I had a list of paint colors I'd wanted to check out, and he half-heartedly went and got two of them for me before going back to his phone. I assumed it was an off day and decided to give them another try the next week, only to find them "closed for lunch". Another customer was outside wondering why they would be randomly closed at 2:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. Giving them an extra star because the shop itself is clean, and you really have to work hard to get a one-star review from me. That said, based on my two experiences, I don't recommend this shop.

Also, if you don't want people coming in the last hour you're open, lock the door and turn the "open" sign off. I have multiple properties that need paint and will be taking my business elsewhere. I haven't experienced such callousness as a customer in a long time.

I was the only customer at first in the store, so I was assisted right away. They patiently answered my questions and helped me pick out an appropriate paint type. As one of the employees continued restocking, the other worked on matching the paint color. I had believed Sherwin-Williams had a color match machine. However, she instead matched the color through trial and error. It took a while, but she was able to get the color very close. It is not exact, but close enough so serve its temporary purpose. Prior to finishing the paint, the employee ensured that I was satisfied with the color. She then gave tips for touching up the walls and found coupons. She also created an account for us to save the paint colors. Overall, we are satisfied and would purchase paint from here again.

I took my paint list from my builder looking for a gallon of exterior sherwin Williams paint. I had the name and the 4 digit code. I explained it was to paint siding of an addition. He then asked me what kind of paint I wanted. I said "I am sorry can you ask that a different way, I am confused" and he repeated "what kind of paint". I had already decided on flat so I didn't know what other details he wanted. I responded quizzically "Sherwin Williams" to which he said "would you go to a Ford dealership and ask for Ford paint?" That doesn't make sense to me - Ford doesn't manufacture paint. I walked out - and will not return. What would have been helpful was an explanation of options.
