Disappointed. The way my return was handled was inconsistent with the friendly service that I…read morereceived at the time of purchase. The selection in this store is great and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. However, they would not return an item that had been damaged prior to purchase. It was a ceiling light (one of multiple items purchased) that had a coloration issue that was difficult to see in the store. The staff did not do an adequate job of calling out that the sale was final. I should have asked given that it was a floor model. Nonetheless, given that the staff member assisting me was encouraging the purchase of the floor model, I feel like I was lead astray. I was more than willing to pay a restocking fee and/or an up charge for ordering a new version of the damaged piece. However, the "solution" offered by individual I spoke with was to try to "sell it on e-bay". This is not the kind of service/partnership that I am looking for when making a purchase such as this.

She told me that all consultants were currently busy; however, she offered and I accepted a beeper much like a restaurant. That made me take notice listening to the consultants answering questions asked of them. I wanted help with lighting and was told that Greg was the specialist. He would probably be 20 minutes or slightly more. Well, if you have not been to this showroom, there is enough to look at before you are assigned a consultant to last hours. I would say if you don't have the time to wait for the most professional help I have ever received, call and make an appointment. I was offered rather than waiting and now I will make an appointment. You are dealing with true specialist. Greg finally was free and came over to introduce himself. He asked me how he could help me. I told him I wanted to update my dining room with a little more modern light. He asked me questions to figure out the size of a light I would need. Then he showed me pieces they have hanging. From there he showed me a few catalogs and quickly showed me a picture of an amazing chandelier. I fell in love and he said, come with me, I have it hanging. I had not expected to find something so quickly. But his taste, intent listening and ability to realize my style helped me visualize. I purchased the dining piece plus a foyer lantern that I never would have imagined would go together. They look amazing and all of my friends want to know where I bought them. My builder has now switched to using Ferguson I had to wait for help longer than anticipated, but I left knowing I had ordered the right pieces for my house. I will definitely return to Ferguson.
