Disappointed. The way my return was handled was inconsistent with the friendly service that I received at the time of purchase. The selection in this store is great and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. However, they would not return an item that had been damaged prior to purchase. It was a ceiling light (one of multiple items purchased) that had a coloration issue that was difficult to see in the store. The staff did not do an adequate job of calling out that the sale was final. I should have asked given that it was a floor model. Nonetheless, given that the staff member assisting me was encouraging the purchase of the floor model, I feel like I was lead astray. I was more than willing to pay a restocking fee and/or an up charge for ordering a new version of the damaged piece. However, the "solution" offered by individual I spoke with was to try to "sell it on e-bay". This is not the kind of service/partnership that I am looking for when making a purchase such as this. read more
