Due to my daughter training out of town there was a delay after getting the information about getting the home . She went to take possession and was told of no move in would result in cancellation of the lease which there was an addendum for the 15th signed as well . My daughter also told me they offered to leave some furniture at the home and decorations . When reviewing the items that were left they were not in very good shape . Some items was very disgusting as well . We gave it some time for home to heat up while also still reviewing the home . Things she did not request to be left was still there all the items in cabinets and drawers. There was also a broken window which I believe is why home was very cold . Reached out to realtor about concerns and she would speaks with owner . I told my daughter to leave the keys until everything was rectified with the home . My daughter received a call from owner stating he would get these things handled the next day . I have been one of the larger users of Romabio products through Helm Paint, who sold and promoted Romabio to me directly. That history makes this complaint all the more serious. On my most recent project Houma, LA, Romabio Lime Slurry failed in multiple ways: * Coverage Failure: The product delivered less than 1/5 of the coverage listed in Romabio's own specifications, despite identical application methods and crew experience used successfully on many past Romabio jobs. The final batch suddenly performed normally -- proving an inconsistency in Romabio's manufacturing process. * Finish Issues: The coating produced irregular discoloration and finish inconsistencies that could not be spot-touched. Entire walls had to be redone -- in some areas up to seven coats plus re-priming. These limitations were never disclosed in Romabio's specifications. * Lack of Support: Romabio's technical staff (Ed Brooks, Matt Hocutt) admitted they were "stumped," then disappeared for weeks at a time. Months later, I was asked for irrelevant photos of the brick. No real warranty support was ever offered. The result: what should have been a profitable two-week project turned into a two-month ordeal, costing me $14,000 in excess labor and damaging my client's construction schedule. Romabio sells itself as a premium, eco-friendly brand with reliable specifications and warranty support. In reality, their specifications are misleading, their product quality inconsistent, and their support unresponsive. As someone who has used Romabio for years and promoted them as a preferred vendor, I can no longer trust their specs or their word. Contractors and homeowners should be warned: when Romabio's product fails, the company does not stand behind it. Resolution Requested: Romabio should, at minimum, cover all material supplied for this project (including the material still needed to finish).
