Do not use the online Color tool. Go into the store and get samples. I made the mistake of using the online color tool ordered my colors over the phone wasted a lot of money on a color that didn't match what was on the tool. I wasted a lot of money because it didn't match what was displayed in the tool. read more

That store is not a busy as some of the other stores so you get ll the attention meaning if you got a small project they will take they're time with you , everyone wants the big customer but don't forget about the small guys !! I wasted a couple of hours at Home Depot and the guy mixing my paint rushed and still had the audacity to say that the paint he mixed was darker than the sample I had brought in, "but it should do" and that's the best he could do. Really?! It was a totally different shade! No, it's not okay I said. Therefore, I ended up going to where I should've gone in the first place, and that place was Sherwin Williams on Vermont. Katheline was super helpful and professional. She mixed and matched a color sample I had brought in 100%. Despite the time left till closing, she took the time to get it right and helped me pick out other needed materials. My project turned out fantastic. Thanks again 'Miss K'! You're awesome. read more

I purchased two 5-gallon buckets and two 1-gallon cans of their Elephant Ear paint along with other paint and supplies for my exterior paint job recently. The contractor opened one of the 5-gallon buckets and painted almost half the house with it. When they opened the second bucket, they told me there was a problem. Turned out both the 5-gallon and 1-gallon paint for the same color were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! I rushed back to the paint store while my contractor waited or tried to paint the trim. When I brought the paints in and showed the difference to the employee, he was shocked at how different they were, yet, the formula/labels were exactly the same. It took him 2 hours to match the paint that I had already painted half the house with because it took many tries. The employee thought it was because they recently adjusted the paint mixing machine but, that can't be true because the two 1-gallon ones were purchased at the same time as the 5-gallon tubs. I read/heard some great things about Sherwin-Williams paints, but this was a horrible experience that cost me extra money and time. These are not cheap paint. On sale, they still cost way more than other paints at full price so having to experience this kind of problem is inexcusable. While the employee did his best the fix the problem, ultimately, the delay caused me more money. Beware the lack of quality control with Sherwin-Williams paints! read more

I had 3 five gallons buckets that I bought here and they where tinted already. I tried calling a few Sherwin-Williams to see if they can tinted to a green color but no one was able to do it. Then I called Vermont Sherwin-Williams and talked to this very nice guy Daryl and he said no problem. I came in right after and he tinted all 3 fives to the exact color I wanted. While waiting he offer me coffee. I would recommend this place to anyone. Great customer service! Especially Daryl! read more

Don't come here. Avoid this store at all costs. Their website is completely off on how much each paint has at the store. I went in there looking for spray paint for an art project. First off they wouldn't attend me they just keep talking on their phone and not attend me. They didn't even let me buy the paint. I didn't have ID on me because I didn't know you needed ID to buy spray paint. I have never been asked for an id to buy spray paints. And the price on the shelves was completely off than when I had to pay. I'm never coming back here again. I would rather go to Home Depot to buy paint. read more

They give you gloss paint when you ask for a semi gloss. They also sell defective spray paint cans and refuse to return them.

I'm fine to be the first to interview this place. If I could give 10 stars I would. Louis, the girl I think Kara was her name, were all so helpful and in a way that you question yourself why people can be angry when there are literally angels surrounding you waiting for you to acknowledge them. Fine, you might say that's a stretch, melodramatic, etc. But no, I won't take it back. If you are like me, probably the only girl in California spending your July 4th weekend dealing with apartment repairs so your landlord won't rob you blind, or you're going through what i am going through, you will feel the exact same sentiment I felt when I went here. In a time when most "best" jobs are gauged on how popular it is on social media, those two really adore their job. Not fake, welcome-thank-you-come-again-let-me-get-back-to-my-selfie bs. I have an enormous adoration and respect for employees like them. And if that doesn't seal the deal, I even met another unexpected angel here, whom out of nowhere want to help me out, now that's a whole new story. read more
