This particular location has cramped parking right in front of the building, but somehow I've always been able to get a spot. I've used a number of brands over the years, and I've settled on using PPG exclusively for my interior house painting. I just like it! It goes on easy, it dries well and looks great. And these PPG Paints stores, some of which used to be Masterwork-Sternberger stores, have always been very helpful and knowledgeable.

He explained how the colors would look and made suggestions, but wasn't too intrusive. I guess there's a few colors that if you get in a sample form, don't show up exactly how they would if you got the full gallon. I guess because it's a smaller quantity in terms of how the dyes mix in? I also will note I did use their colorsnap technology and it wasn't very helpful. This is an app that takes a pic of your paint colors (on walls or wherever is painted) and matches it with the closest Sherwin-Williams paint color. You do need an attachment to take the pics that is extra money, but my painter let me borrow his. This should be helpful if you don't remember the color of SW paint you used or you used a different company. It saved the colors to my app, but didn't give any names or numbers to the colors I was trying to match. The guy helping me didn't really know how to look them up either via the app, so we just did our best guess. Not sure if the guy working should have known how to look up the colors, or the system is flawed. We matched as best we could and I bought a bunch of samples. When I got home I realized that three were missing. UGH! He forgot to give me them. So I had to run back up and grab them. Thankfully, I only live a few minutes away, so not too huge a deal, but a pain none-the-less. I will also note the samples are huge and not cheap. I wish there was a smaller sample option, but again, not sure if the color wouldn't match as well to what it truly would be.
