I've used a number of brands over the years, and I've settled on using PPG exclusively for my interior house painting. I just like it! It goes on easy, it dries well and looks great. And these PPG Paints stores, some of which used to be Masterwork-Sternberger stores, have always been very helpful and knowledgeable.

I put my furniture cushions out from June till September and they sit with very little use and well taken care of. Unfortunately, I am very displeased with the them. When I first received the one cushion the thread that they used was dry rotted and falling apart. I'm not sure how long the cushions were sitting around before they were sent to the store, or if they were truly custom made for me and the person just used older thread . The other issue is that my buttons keep falling off from the plastic. They replaced the buttons and gave back-up but the string to attach the buttons can only be handled so many times before wearing it out. I should not have to do this! My cushions were very expensive and I was fine with that, because umbrella material is great quality and know to last. The material stills looks great and the shape is still intact (seat cushions) as I am meticulous about taking care of my belongings. However, craftsmanship with the stitching and the ongoing issues with the buttons coming apart are awful. Now my beautiful expensive cushions are trashy looking, and do not hold shape on the back cushion since the buttons can no longer be attached to pull the cushions in. I am very disappointed and the store should have offer a better solution from the beginning and allowed me to choose a different style with a different company. Not happy with how the Mt. Lebanon store handled my order and sold me defective cushions. I hoped for a better outcome and better customer from this store.

Actually, this should have been my first resort but hubby had referrals from two of the painters. Any how, after calling Anthony, he provided a quick response and even came out the same day to prepare the free quote. He was respectful and professional and promised the quote via email within a day. True to his word, we received a very competitive quote! The best part was, Anthony was able to begin the work the very next day! That was a huge bonus for us because we were leaving town within several days. His ability to do the work then allowed us the opportunity to travel with a clear mind that the work was done and done well. Staining a new bay window can be a complicated job when you want to be real careful with the glass…read more I decided to have this job done professionally so it would be done right the first time. I contacted Pittsburgh Pro Painters a few weeks back with the project, sent a picture of the work needed done and soon afterwards got a price quote. The company advised me to visit a Sherwin Williams paint store to get Min Wax samples so I could color match what best would look good in my kitchen. I ended up selecting a red chestnut color to go with my medium cherry cabinets and a clear coat to go on top. The company agreed to purchase it for me at their discount which I would pay for and pass the savings on to me. On the day of the project, Pete the owner sent out Mark and Joe who would be doing the work. They arrived on time and were both friendly and very professional! The first day was prepping the area, sanding it and applying a coat of the Min Wax with a paintbrush. I was thrilled to find out that I wouldn't need to have a 2nd coat applied which would save me on the labor. They came back the next day to finish the job by applying two coats of clearcoat. The results are fantastic!! Before leaving they explained how to do any necessary touch ups with the remainder of my Min Wax and answered any other questions I had. Billing can be done on the spot or you can wait to invoice you. Cards and checks are accepted. I was very pleased with the work they did and definitely will hire them again for my future painting projects.
