Customer service I purchased several items and was waiting on A delivery date and was never contacted. I had to make several calls just to find out. Also having a door installed and after paying I was told I would be contacted but again I had to contact them. I was told it would take a month before they could install. Went there today to pick up some wood for a deck frame and the selection was so picked over and shelves were extremely bare. I was told that there has been a lack of shipments in due to covid, which is understandable but also disappointing. Therefore, I don't have much else to say. Maybe call them ahead of time if you plan on making a trip to see if what you need is in stock. read more

As soon as I moved into my new duplex, I knew the accent wall in the living room needed an update. Being a mustardy gold color- it was not my thing. So I headed to Home Depot, knowing nothing about painting, in hopes of updating my new place. I came on a Monday evening around 6:30pm. There was one gentleman working in the paint department, so I went to speak with him about what I needed. Quite honestly, I didn't know what I needed- I was hoping that speaking to someone at Home Depot would best assist me in making my decisions about what type of paint to get and how much. He was not very helpful. I showed him a picture of the current color on the wall and asked him if I would need a white primer. He beat around the bush without answering my question and wasn't very friendly. I ordered a gallon of white paint, along with a gallon of the colored paint. After taking the paint home, I realized that the paint can clearly stated "Primer and color". For someone who doesn't paint very often, I had no idea that most paint now a days, has primer in it already. I was pretty mad that I had spent $30 on a can of paint that I didn't need- basically because of an unhelpful employee. Fortunately, I was able to return the paint with ease. The cashier who I interacted with was helpful and friendly. My overall experience was slightly less than average. There's no excuse for poor customer service. read more

The Home Depot has just about anything you need for your home as a do it yourself-er. I like shopping at this particular location especially when picking paint colors because the workers are so helpful. They have a nice selection of flowers for planting. We also have bought our Christmas tree here for the past 5 years. They have always been a decent tree for a reasonable price. read more

Yeah, Home Depot is more tolerable than IKEA, infinitely so. The smell of fresh lumber is enough to welcome me warmly into this home improvement Valhalla, and I'm about as handy as an ice maker in Siberia. This past Sunday, we got some keys made and some caulking. I had a pleasant conversation for the young fellow making my keys and enjoyed the comforting scent of fresh lumber. The store is laid out well, organized in an exceedingly orderly fashion, and is astonishingly uncluttered. Why a 3? The company itself teeters between social responsibilty and callousness. Home Depot has donated to Habitat For Humanity and emergency preparedness programs, BUT they have also financially aided and abetted Republicans in the elections of 2005-2006. They attempt to be environmentally hospitable in a number of ways and are supportive of gay rights, BUT they're also anti-union. Eh. I dug too deep again. Darn. read more

I have shopped at this Home Depot location many times. It used to have everything I needed. Used to. Lately when I go in searching for something they always tell me that they don't have it in store but I can order it online. I want to keep brick and mortar stores in business so I always go there first. It is frustrating to feel like you have wasted a trip and could have ordered it online. Honestly, if I'm going to order online then that sale is going to Amazon. Today I was looking for an air conditioning replacement filter. It should have been an easy find. Instead the sales people told me to go online. The three stars are for the customer service. We were being helped by one salesperson when another stopped to see if they could help. (Sometimes it's hard to find salespeople when you shop retail because they try to keep costs low and don't staff very well.). The second item we needed they didn't have either. We walked out empty handed. It was very disappointing. read more

Aside from being a bit on the expensive side of hardware stores, generally, the store is full of friendly orange-clad employees. You are greeted upon walking in, by a friendly and informative traffic director, surrounded in the entryway by seasonally advertised items such as perennials in the spring. The store is massive, but you never get the sense that anything you might be looking for is difficult to find. Unlike other Home Depot stores, this location is well-staffed, and well-stocked every time I have been. I give it 4-of-5 stars only because of the higher prices. read more

Miles, the stock boy, helped me find the dryer bulb I needed last month and I am very pleased with that. Unfortunately, I cannot give a 5 star review because the bulb was $5.97 with tax. This is your average Home Depot. It's laid out like just about every other store I've been to, although it does seem to offer a bit more in product then others. They are also a penskie truck rental location. I'm here often enough to know help is always around when you don't need them, and it seems like when you actually do good luck. I can recall three times needing help and having to walk all over the place to find it. If you need help getting plywood that's the toughest one. I've actually found where they hide at this point. There's a display with some chairs and a desk behind it, but you really need to look around the display to see it. If you ask they'll help you and are pretty friendly about it just don't expect them to go out of the way to find you and ask if you need help. read more

I recently dropped my credit card and they found it looked the number up and she contacted me to let me know the card was safe and I could pick it up at the store. Great helpful staff! I will shop here any day over any other home improvement store. I had to purchase a top bar for a chain linked fence and the guy in lawn and garden was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help us get the pole cut so it would fit in our car! Lowe's would not help us do this at all when we stopped to ask! I wish would have gotten the guys name but I hope he knows how much we appreciated his help! read more

Love peeping the discount paint cart for deals. 50¢ for a pint of paint? You know it!

What a shame what this company put my sister through. Although she did not buy top-of-line cabinets, they should not be peeling within three years. The adjuster came out to her home and, unbeknownst to her at the time, only took pictures of her cat. They blamed the peeling on the cat peeing on cabinet. When confronted with the fact that the upper cabinets were peeling, they then said the cause was "moisture". When confronted with the fact that the old, 50 year old cabinets were on hand and they never had an issue with moisture, nor the original hardwood floors, they blamed the problem on moisture, cat and stove venting. When confronted with the fact that Home Depot installed a stove and vent at the time they installed the cabinets, they said we had to deal with the manufacturer, Masco. When confronted with the fact that the manufacturer put my sister on hold for a half hour and then hung up, and when she called back, they laughed at her and hung up again, Home Depot said it wasn't their problem. read more

My elderly mother and I went to Home Depot on Sunday, although the store was not busy, we did have to wait patiently for someone to help us load 9 bags of mulch. A very nice sales woman was helping us try to find someone to help, she kept coming past asking if someone had helped us yet. While this was going on there was two men operating a forklift moving mulch pallets. We were joking back and forth with them as we waited. After standing there for 7 minutes a very ... athletic blond female in a spandex outfit comes over ... RIGHT NEXT TO US and starts to load bags of mulch for her own cart. The two men on the forklift stopped what the were doing and asked her if SHE needed help! I said "you're kidding me right? We have been standing here for 7 minutes and you have not offered us help!" The older of the two actually said "we didn't know you needed help" ... As an exchange started between us a very petit woman came over and helped us load our mulch and leave. I was FURIOUS we were dismissed like that! read more
