After showing us what he recommended, if it didn't have a sheen from being wet I wouldn't have know it was paint, it was that perfect. Sylvester was extremely product knowledgable, asked fact finding questions to ensure we found what would work best for our needs. Sylvester was very polite, displayed great customer service skills in fact I was going to ask if he had worked previously for Chic-fil-A, he was that good.

Yesterday (8/13) at around 4:15PM I bought a transformer from the store. Cost me $34. Unfortunately, it did not fit in the space I have. I took the item back today at around 12:00PM (8/14) with my receipt. I was told I could NOT get a refund for my item, even though I had my receipt. She didn't even open the box to check the item (I had repacked it the way it was sold to me). She asked her supervisor, and the supervisor also said no refund. The cashier told me there were no refunds on electrical items. I was not warned about this by the cashier when I bought the item. I was flabbergasted. I like to support local businesses, but that support only led this local business to spit back into my face. I will never use this Ace Hardware again. We will now make sure to go to the big box stores to guarantee we get a refund if something doesn't work, especially within the first 24 hours. I actually left the transformer with the cashier because I can't use it, and maybe someone else looking for one will be able to. I hope keeping my $34 was worth it to never have my business again.

I bought a Whirlpool dryer from this Lowe's 6 months ago and it's blowing cold air...again. There's no recourse of action. I would not recommend them. On 8/4/25: I purchased a Whirlpool dryer with a 1 year warranty from Lowes in Altamonte Springs. November 2025: Dryer stopped blowing hot air. Lowe's denied responsibility and directed me to Whirlpool warranty, who directed me to Flamingo Appliance Repair. 12/2/25 Flamingo Appliance Repair fixed the problem by replacing a heat sensor. 2/2/2026: Dryer stopped blowing hot air again. The soonest Flamingo could come out was 2/10. 2/10/2026 an automated text announced the tech couldn't make it and provided a link to reschedule my appointment.
