One of the the things that comes with homeownership is you will have to paint something eventually…read more After years of trying different paints, and since Frazee was sold to Standard Brands, I heard good things about this place from a handyman/plumber friend I knew. He wasn't the best at his trade but he did know the difference in quality paints. Undoubtedly this brand is the best paint on the market I've tried. Frazee was very good too, now non-existent. (I even went to Standard Brands to buy some of the old Frazee paints till they were gone) So, I'm really satisfied with this paint. Goes on thin but has very good coverage. Usually do 2 coats, then touch ups after. You will spend about $45 bucks a gallon for interior paint but to me worth every penny. I've tried Behr and only like a couple finishes. And not really cheaper and goes on thicker. Which I don't like. That's what they sell at Home Depot. I did have an issue one time where my quart of touch up did not match the original, and showed them photos of the difference on my 3 walls. They gladly gave me a free full gallon off my original color! That right there sold me for life.

Itzel Vera was very informative and educated us on the pro's & cons of various color combinations without swaying us from our original Visio. She provided us some visual renders of our home. Without the renders it was hard to imagine the drastic changes we were trying to go for. Our hired painter got the exact DE paints and it all worked out perfectly. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the color consultation services.

Then in 2024, we hired them to do our interior, because we know they'll do a good job, & they did. We're most impressed with their work ethic, & their willingness to help & go the extra miles to make their customers happy. Ron said in the beginning that they'll take good care of us, & they delivered. Ron is a man of principle & runs a solid company. We would recommend them to all our friends & families, or to anyone at anytime. Also it's important to know that they are the cleanest painters in town. They clean up after themselves every day. I also want to mention that if you have Matt as one of your crew member, you are in good hands!!!

From the very beginning, Ron stood out from the 5 other painters I interviewed in many ways, and by the time he finished walking me through the work they would do, I knew I would hire him. Ron was the only one who had a well put together folder with all of his licenses, as well as information on him and how he started his company. The team he sent was top-notch. Beyond their technical skills, what truly sets Ron's team apart is their integrity, reliability, and genuinely pleasant demeanor. It's a joy to find people so easy to work with--always punctual, responsive, and consistently going the extra mile to ensure I was happy with the results. My home has been completely transformed, and the attention to detail is evident in every corner, from meticulous prep work to flawless finishes. I have a new house! Also very impressive was their commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment throughout the entire process. I wholeheartedly recommend Ron Rice Painting to anyone seeking a top-tier painting professional. They have my full trust and my highest praise.

Auntie tried to grow strawberries... Home Depot said "not today"…read more Let Auntie put you on real quick... If you're trying to grow your own food (because grocery prices are doing THE MOST), The Home Depot is a solid place to start--but keep your receipt, okay? Now listen... I grabbed strawberry roots (red & white) and a berry plant, fully committed to my "grow my own fruit" era. Bought compost, followed directions, even went to YouTube University like a good student Not gonna lie... Them plants said absolutely nothing back to me. No sprouts, no greens... just vibes and dry roots After 3 1/2 weeks, I realized I was out here watering ghosts. BABY... they sold me dead plants. But overall... Here's where they redeemed themselves--returns were EASY. No attitude, no hassle. I brought everything back (yes, I dug up every last root like a crime scene investigation ‍), showed my receipt, and got my full refund. They even reminded me I have 90 days if anything goes left. Pro tip: open a free business account so your receipts stay on file--thank me later for that one too. "Do yourself a favor and try it first... and you can thank me later "

CHRISTMAS TREE LOT REVIEW only…read more I had the pleasure of purchasing a tree with my family from the Tree Lot at Home Depot El Cajon. This review is going to be short just because it's a seasonal thing and people want to hurry and find a good spot for a tree... so here we go. The employees were pretty cheerful and were in good holiday spirits. Walking in your greeted with Christmas music and the fresh smell of pine trees ( my favorite ) your full average 6-8 foot tree is going to run anywhere from 60-100$ depending on the type of tree you want. Seems a lot but this is definitely the average place when going somewhere like this. They will trim the bottom of the tree and any part on the tree you may want removed. They have holiday plants and this year my daughter was in love with the FREE little Charlie Brown trees haha cutest things ever. They have any accessories you may need for the tree and even some holiday decorations. Thank You Home Depot Tree Lot of El Cajon
