Once done, I provided him with two paint samples that I needed to be color matched for a home project. Jose was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and informative--considering the limited experience I had with paint options. He explained the color scheme matching process and proceeded to do his magic while allowing me to look on. It took him less than 5-10 minutes to complete the process and the color match was perfect! All along, we talked about paints and his passion for his work, amongst other things. I could tell he was a dedicated professional and truly committed to his work with Dunn Edwards. Assuming that Jose had to complete other duties relating to closing the store, he never rushed and even carried out the paint to my car. It is a rarity to find people like Jose in this day and age. When we bought our house, the paint on the wall along the stairs had some furniture scratches and a cleaner can't do the job, i saw that the previous owner left some paints and i got lucky since they left the exact paint color that matches the walls but it was gloss (for wet areas only) i took a picture of it since i just need the flat version and googled stores that would carry Frazee brand and found this store. As soon as i walked in the staff greeted me and asked if they could help me with something, they were very detailed with the paints (since i obviously don't look like a contractor) and got me the exact paint i need to do some touch ups. They also tell other waiting customers that they will be right with them. Acknowledgements like that especially if a customer is waiting is huge deal. I like this store and their staff knows how to provide good customer service.

The little book of all their paint is about $12.99-$14.99 (don't remember exact price). They answered some questions and gave me some tips on how to make the paint job easier. They're supplies are also very fault priced. It really helps and makes really easy, especially if you live in a house with an HOA if you get the paint schemes from your developer, to get the exact paint you need. This was a few years ago. I bought a Whirlpool Fridge that wasn't getting cold. It was under…read morewarranty so I called the manufacturer. The person they sent to "fix it" said it felt cold to him but didn't measure the temp. It wasn't refrigerator cold. It wasn't safe for food. He also showed me there were no parts for this anywhere around for months and I'd have to wait. I went back to the Home Depot where I had bought it. The store manager said that was crap, and showed me another fridge. Not only did he have it delivered same day, but they took back the other one and because the new one cost a little less, I got money back. This Home Depot really came to my rescue. More recently I ran up to the door as they were closing. They shouldn't have but they let me in to make a quick purchase of a portable A/C and that worked really well in our favor. It might be a slightly smaller Home Depot, but they're decent caring people here!

I ordered online one 2x4x8 and six 2x1x8s for convenience. When I arrived for pickup, no one was at the online order desk. A friendly lady called out that someone would be with me shortly. It didn't take too long, but after I showed my order, they told me I'd have to wait another 10-15 minutes because my lumber was still in the back and the person bringing it up was helping another customer. I understood, things get busy. Once they brought everything out, I quickly counted the pieces, and rolled it out to my vehicle. While trying to load the 8-foot boards, I noticed one of the 2x1x8s had a huge chunk missing where a knot had fallen out. My injury was already bothering me, but I grabbed the bad piece and went back inside. The same pleasant lady helped me again. She said someone would get me a replacement. I mentioned that the rest of the wood was sticking out of my truck and wasn't secured, and she reassured me she'd bring the new piece out. After a few more minutes, I met her halfway in the parking lot, got the replacement, loaded it up, and headed home. When I got home and started sorting through everything, I realized the problem was bigger than just the one bad board. Whoever pulled my order had given me some of the dirtiest, most damaged, and least straight 2x1x8s they had. That explained the obvious defective piece. The 2x4x8 wasn't much better, it looked like it had been pulled from the bottom of a stack and was dirty with strap marks and damage. Literally looks like they gave me shit wood on purpose. I was really disappointed. I normally go in and pick out my own lumber so I can choose decent pieces, but I trusted them to handle it for me this one time. I won't be doing any more online lumber orders cuz they clearly don't care what they pull. The only good part of the whole experience was the courteous lady who helped me from start to finish. Now I'm stuck using this trashy wood for my project.
