Lo and behold, Ace was comparable in price and had a better selection. This wasn't the first time I went to Ace either. They beat the price for a garbage disposal by $50 just a week previous. This location is well stocked and has friendly help. They also have a bbq supply place attached that has some cool stuff. I've even bought my stocking stuffers here in the past. I highly, highly recommend this location. Parking is available in the back for those who are afraid of trying to find a spot. Great option for your hardware needs.

I came to pick up a cordless drill that I saw advertised. After finding the tool, I waited in line. When I arrived at the register, the young lady asked for my phone number for my account, and I stated I did not have one. She asked for my number to put into the system and I politely said, "no thank you" and that I just wanted to make my purchase. She gave me a perplexed look, and pretty much insisted I needed to give it up for the purchase, and once again I said, "no thank you." She scanned the item and it came out to a higher price than the tag on the shelf, so I mentioned that the price was not right. Here's the kicker, with an attitude, she says well that's what happens when you are not a member and don't sign up. Now, I was not upset about not being eligible for the discount, but I was disappointed with the young lady's attitude and the way she rubbed it in, for not giving my phone number. The haughtiness of her voice and smirk on her face said it all. Even the people waiting in line had a look on their faces at the audacity of what was transpiring. I was not happy. I felt her attitude was in a bad taste and demonstrated disrespect and has no business in the work place. I should be able to make a purchase without giving personal information that I wish to keep private, without any grievance. No, I will not return to Harbor Freight Tools.

CHRISTMAS TREE LOT REVIEW only…read more I had the pleasure of purchasing a tree with my family from the Tree Lot at Home Depot El Cajon. This review is going to be short just because it's a seasonal thing and people want to hurry and find a good spot for a tree... so here we go. The employees were pretty cheerful and were in good holiday spirits. Walking in your greeted with Christmas music and the fresh smell of pine trees ( my favorite ) your full average 6-8 foot tree is going to run anywhere from 60-100$ depending on the type of tree you want. Seems a lot but this is definitely the average place when going somewhere like this. They will trim the bottom of the tree and any part on the tree you may want removed. They have holiday plants and this year my daughter was in love with the FREE little Charlie Brown trees haha cutest things ever. They have any accessories you may need for the tree and even some holiday decorations. Thank You Home Depot Tree Lot of El Cajon
