Pat's hilarious button...
Christine P.

The bright star in my trip to Home Depot was Pat, one of the cashiers helping in the self-checkout area. She's super funny! She mentioned she was a professional clown for many years and where she received her nickname, "Squeakers." We found that we both have a love of photography; her specialty is wildlife and mine is landscapes/nature. She's an asset to this company. The other employees who offered to help find a product and did were appreciated. Where I had issues: 1. Upon entering, there's no map or person to direct you in this ginormous store. For example, where is the bathroom? 2. There's disabled parking at the entrance door, but check out is ALL the way down to the other side of the store. I understand this is a corporate decision, probably to get people to spend more money. That said, it's not right to make disabled people to walk THAT far. The company doesn't know if that walk is too painful to do or if the person is already in pain and the walk will cause it to get worse. Just some thoughts...

I came here to get a copy of my house key and they charged me $5.00 for one key the following day. I noticed a locksmith right down the street from my house. I went in there and asked them how much for my house key copy $2.50 if Home Depot is charging that much money imagine all the other items in the store that they are raising their prices and taking advantage of the customers, they deserve a half star. their new name is shyster's Depot, and by the way, look at all the one stars that they have the reviews are atrocious.

This is ridiculous Home Depot.

I stopped by for a few paint samples and the experience at the paint counter was painfully slow. The employee clearly struggled with the system and didn't seem equipped to handle the pace of the paint department. What should've been a 10-15 minute stop turned into well over 30 minutes. This comes from having someone who looks like could be my great grandmother. No offense to her but this isn't the right job for her where efficiency is a big priority for these customers. This area of the store is one of the busiest and needs staff who can move efficiently and handle constant contractor traffic. Management should really pay attention to who's assigned here -- this position requires someone with up-to-date training and experience using the paint system.

GABE deserves 100x brownie points. I needed something I wasn't even sure existed, he showed up at the perfect time offered his assistance and went above and beyond. He found the one scent free cleaner in the whole store, Fast! Thank you Gabe

$$ spent on a Washer/Dryer that could not be installed due to Tristan Toledo rushing customers

Absolutely unique and incredible experience. My wife and I started of our wedding anniversary…read morecelebration with an early morning "plant workshop"!!! I was able to make a reservation for the 2 of us several weeks in advance. The entire experience is about 45 minutes to an hour. We walked in and immediately loved the vibe of this place. We were greeted by our host Savannah! She was phenomenal. She knew from our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary and she was very personable. Savannah helped us pick out our pot and our plants and then walked us through the entire potting process, giving her tips and tricks through the process. My wife and I both did a larger succulent planter. The pots we picked included 3 to 5 succulent plants that you could pick out. You sit together at the giant dirt bar where you get down and dirty with your plants. If I'm being honest, I never looked at pricing. This was a special date night and we were doing whatever we wanted! But when we went to check out with our new plants, I was pleasantly surprised that the entire experience for the both of us, with beautiful pots, plants and an hour of fun, was only $50 each. It would have been even cheaper had we selected smaller pots. All in all...we loved it. My wife is an avid plant lover so of course she was in her element. But even a guy like me that's never really planted anything...had a great time! Oh, and the bathroom. Even if you don't need to use it, it's a must to check it out! Thank you Momma Pots for helping us kick off our Anniversary Celebration! We will be back again for sure!!!

Found it strange no pots had price tags which was kind of annoying, plus no signage or even an iPad. There was an order lady working and when I asked for prices she had to walk over to get an iPad and search (pretty slowly) for the price. I found them faster by looking on my phone. I did buy some shears that I've been wanting from the shop Pigment, which was my main objective. When I tried to make conversation if about them being sold at Pigment- the lady replied in a snobby tone "yeah we sell to them." No friendly invite to return. Mentioned she just came back from vacation and everything got "moved around" (not that I cared or asked). Anyway, strange experience/customer service and overpriced. Cute to look at, but realistically will not return :(

What a gem to find this family owned nursery in the heart of Poway!…read more The nursery is MASSIVE! I could spend hours here looking at all the different plants, trees, and flowers. They have an extensive selection to choose from and if you don't find what you're looking for, they will help you find it. Their prices may be a little higher for some items compared to corporate stores like Home Depot but the quality justifies the price. For some other things, they are actually the lowest price. The nursery is clean and organized with plenty of workers to help assist you with picking something out, answering any questions, or helping you load things into the car. I was in and out within 15 minutes! The parking lot is plentiful so no issues there. For parents of little ones or those who love watching mini trains, they have a huge mini train track set up outside in the back by the bonsai trees. A fun and free entertainment to keep your kids occupied while you shop. We bought an apple tree so hope it's fruitful (crossing fingers)!

Plenty of people working to help load or answer questions. The prices are higher than big box stores, but your not going to find this kind of variety and different sizes at any box stores. I feel that the higher prices are justified based on selection and the customer service
