It's located in a plaza down the road from Pleasant Hill Mall with a massive lot so parking is never an issue, especially for huge utlity trucks. In the store, the aisles are clear and organized but the exterior pathway has bulks of items placed in arbitrary spots so it's hard to maneuver an adjustable panel hand truck seamlessly through. Keep in mind, the walking-through passage could easily fit 2 forklifts with enough room for people to mosey on by when it's clear. Lawn & Garden- We usually come here the deals on mulch. Storage- Always in need of latching storage boxes for organizing and putting away the seasonal stuff. Building Materials- Reliable lumbar. Overall Service: Workers are hard to track down for assistance especially by the plywood cutting service area. Once we did manage to track someone down, they were helpful. The cashier folks were more consistent, friendly and fast.

Calling CX service they told me there was nothing they could do but give me Walmart credit OR put back on original payment ( charge card ) but that the money they instantly took out would be returned back to me in 10 DAYS. Wonder how Walmart has become so rich ? They steal your money and collect interest on it while yours charges you interest on your card. Shameful.

I would have give the…read morestore 1 Star, but previous experiences for paint and other small items has always been fine. My husband and I bought a new washing machine and opted for the installation and removal. They send out the machine and the installers say it can't be done because the hoses are still leaking even turned off. I almost have a heart attack because this just sounds like a plumbing nightmare. They tell me to get a plumber to fix this and then they can come back out. Luckily I have a friend who does some plumbing so he came over. The fucking techs just didn't drain the hoses. A completely normal step in the process; one that the instruction manual even refers to. My friend installs the machine and no problem. My husband called Home Depot to question this and they basically said "not my problem". This could have cost us hundreds if we had called an actual plumber--just to get one out to the house is expensive. And HD just is ok with the people going out installing their products to be scammers who don't do the job they were hired for.

Didn't end up mattering as they left me a voicemail at the end of the day saying "the truck broke down"and I needed to reschedule. Spoke to someone at length and they explained that they can't commit to any time of day and I wouldn't know the delivery window until the night before. Under these ridiculous limitations, I emphasized that the only possible day that I could be available at all hours would be 12/11. The night before I had received no delivery schedule info, so I called and found out that they had not put me on the schedule. The next chance would be 12/13. At 8:05am that day, I received the delivery window info, 8:30am - 12-30. Yup, 25 minutes before. After installation, they left without testing it and the drain hose, held on by a clip instead of a real clamp, flew off and drained water all over the floor. Few hours later still haven't heard back from the installers.

I have to question AG's decision to affiliate with ACE Hardware. I bought an item from ACE Hardware directly via their website and had it shipped to their store. I also purchased a few items directly from A.G. Again pleasant experience, real hard working knowledgeable folks in here. It really is a call back to the hardware stores of yesteryear at A.G. Well the item I purchased from Ace's website did not meet my needs and I tried to initiate a return with A.G. But they sent me packing and to deal directly with ACE. I understand it's ACE policy and I technically did not pay for them for that item. I just feels like if the local stores are going to accept shipments from ACE they should be able to initiate an Return Merchant Authorization as well. I called ACE numerous times and even Tweeted at them, but I was blown off. So now I'm out $40 dollars for a tool I don't use and could be sold as new again. They did not honor their 30 day return policy. Yes, I understand we are in "uncertain" times, but it just felt off putting. I had to buy a mini-fridge from Home Depot recently the unit I got was defective out of the box. Home Depot took the fridge back and refunded my money post-haste. Markets and customers change and I guess I will take my business elsewhere, but it feels like ACE has some really outdated policies and procedures in handling customer disputes.
