Great little diner. The waiter was really friendly and the food was outstanding. You should give it a try if you haven't already.

Sherburne's a really small town with a few restaurants. I would say that Lewis' Restaurant is…read moredefinitely Sherburne's best. I came here on a weekend night and it was pretty lively and fun. The restaurant is very well kept and clean. Staff were welcoming and I was seated immediately. The space is large and offers side rooms for private events. Upon entry, you'll find the bar area that seems to be popular. I tried the coconut shrimp appetizer with pineapple sauce. It was on their white leaflet insert for their specials but I noticed it was on their permanent menu as well. I thought it tasted great and wasn't too greasy. The sauce wasn't overly sweet. Entrees come with a side salad and an additional side. I got the haddock with a side of spaghetti. The spaghetti side was huge. The salad had cucumber, onion and tomato with some iceberg lettuce. There were over 5 dressing options to chose from. I chose the balsamic vinaigrette and the husband chose a peppercorn sauce. I liked my sauce a little more because the peppercorn one was thick and rich like ranch. I liked the acidity and coating-ability of the vinaigrette. Both salads had more dressing than I would have preferred but it wasn't too drastically overdressed. I tried the husband's lighthouse chicken and liked the bacon flavor it had. For desserts, we had the pumpkin mousse parfait and wine ice cream from Gilligan's, their ice cream store neighbor. The wine ice cream normally comes in a wine glass but our waitress put it in a margarita glass for us for easier access. I appreciated that gesture. She was very attentive and quick. The pumpkin mousse tasted great but would have benefitted from an additional layer of something other than whipped cream. A pumpkin cake or crumble would have added nice texture to it.

I got broiled haddock it was completely bland no spices at all (I have gotten a better dish at a pizza restaurant) . It came w a "baked potato " it was so dry the skin peeled off. Went into the trash. The side salad was brown on many of the leaves w a very small wedge of tomato and two thin cucumbers. My husband got a pasta dish that barely had sauce, most of the noodles had no sauce on them. $80 later the only thing I loved was the potato soup. Btw they advertise every where that they deliver NOT TRUE. NO DELIVERY

Starters, House-Smoked Wings 6 smoked wings tossed in Berry Man jalapeno were not their best, that I have had there previously. Not smoky flavorful or crispy. Cold. Sprouts was supposed to be Crispy brussel sprouts, Floatin' on By Korean beer glaze, kimchi aioli, sesame seeds. Not, they were more mush, balsamic tasting. no sesame seeds. Spouse liked them, so didn't complain, but did mention to server about sauce. Dirty Bird Buttermilk fried chicken, Nashville hot oil, jalapeno slaw, honey chipotle aioli, slaw, pickles, brioche bun. Served with fries was good. Fish Tacos Three flour tortillas with blackened mahi, jalapeno coleslaw, pico de gallo, green goddess cajun aioli, pickled red onion, cilantro. Served with tortilla chips and lime crema. Was also good. Good place to go once in awhile but won't run back. A new Winter menu is coming. May check it out. Seating inside with lots of tables, bar seating and booths. Ps restaurant was not very busy. Bills game was on.

A true hidden gem. You have to know about this place or you'll never find it. Recommended by my…read moreson, we stopped in on a bust Friday night and felt as if we were walking into a roadside biker bar. And yet... Our host, server and actually all of the employees were super frinedly upbeat and attentive in spite of the place being jjam packed. There was music playing from a jkebox, but in the main dining room it wasn't too loud. And I was glad that we were seated there becuase we had a great view of the lake. We would have enjoyed the patio, but it was especially chilly for mid-May. Anyway, on to the food and drinks. Cocktails were good and not too sweet, draft beer was fresh. Steamed clams were on point. Salads were crisp and fresh as well as creative. Entrees were amazing and even the fries (which to my mind are usually an afterthought) were excellent. Other than some tight parking and a somewhat loud dining room, it was a great experience. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation. The chef is top notch.

Service was friendly and food came out quickly. I had potato pierogies and a beet, arugula and goat cheese salad, both very good. They do have a number of vegetarian choices. They also have breakfast on Sundays. Will definitely be coming back for the lake views in the spring.
