This is the worst run practice I have ever seen. Every experience I have with them involves some kind of snafu. They need help!

I visited the office for an eye exam as a first-time patient, and the initial service was so-so…read more However, Dr. Shield or Dr. Adam was unable to complete the basic vision exam because they did not have my medical records from my previous doctor's office. I called my previous doctor to confirm that the records had been sent, and they assured me that they had. The doctor asked me to return to complete the vision assessment, so I did. Unfortunately, my second visit was terrible experience. I have never encountered such poor service from eye doctors before. First, a technician named Amy was extremely rude. I had an interpreter with me, but she took me into a dark room where I couldn't access my communication needs. As a deaf and low-vision patient, this was very challenging. Amy was unwilling to accommodate my needs and forced me to go through the process without any communication support. She refused to accommodate and my request to replace with another technician or anyone willing to assist in a more cooperative manner in both ways. When I finally saw the doctor, he was unprofessional and lacked soft skills. He acted arrogantly, assuming that he had not reviewed anything from my first visit. He stated that it was not his problem that he had not received my medical records and made me go through a full vision field assessment, which was unnecessary. His assistant or he could have called me to inform me that they still hadn't received the records instead of making me come in for no reason. To make matters worse, he suggested that I go back to the previous office in different state (12hrs drive) to get my records cuz of their technical issues (yes, I called with their confirmation and signed ROI from both office) Overall, there seemed to be a lack of sensitivity training for staff regarding people with disabilities, and there was an absence of gentleness when discussing medical conditions
