Kambucha
Arleen E.

Met James many years ago at the Kirkland Farmers Market then again in Seattle. He is so passionate about his teas and kombucha. I love his loose tea selection - Dream Well, Strawberry Snow, Herbal Zen Detox, White Rose Medley to name a few (he probably has over 15 different loose teas). These are sold in small tins. I tried his three organic tea syrups - African Ginger, Hibiscus Temple and Vanilla Mint Cola. I love ginger so my favorite is his African Ginger. Just pour an ounce of the syrup to an 8oz glass of water (iced of hot) and you are good to go! Great ginger flavor, but not overpowering. If you like drinking soda, Vanilla Mint is as close as you can get to a healthier option. I highly recommend Shen Zen teas to tea lovers out there!

Ask the Community - Shen Zen Tea

I have a tin of Shen Zen earl grey loose leaf from who knows how long ago ... where can I buy more?

you can purchase bulk on their website! shenzentea.com

Where are these "participating outlets" noted on your bottles return labels? I'd like to return the bottle to its proper place, but I purchased this bottle at a PCC in Issaquah. Do I just bring it back to the store? Help!

Hi Molly, thanks for asking, and thanks for drinking our kombucha! Currently we can accept bottles at any of our farmer's market stands, in addition to participating outlets. This Saturday, Oct 27th, we will be at Redmond Farmer's Market, and all… Read more

I appreciate the accuracy of this because as of late when researching with other businesses' websites on this type of situation the other businesses that a company may direct you to get their product is outdated so kudos for being up to date there. I have to say the Kombucha I got was very refreshing on the hot summer day we were encountering. I liked the tea aspects to this as is the norm with any Kombucha and this particular one I enjoyed experiencing it in the flavor profile. The Kombucha I got does have alcohol in it but not as much compared to some beers and other alcoholic beverages. I'd love to try out other flavors that they may have available with CommuniTea!

My cousin decided to purchase a bottle and he was stunned at how affordable such a large bottle was being sold for. Plus, if you bring back your bottle each week you can recycle it to save a few dollars on your next batch! We both tried the kombucha and agreed it was really quite good. A bit too strong for my liking but he really enjoyed it and gulped it down within minutes. So glad I live close enough to the market to stock up on this kombucha for him.

I haven't had kombucha too terribly often and I am still kind of deciding whatI like best as far as flavors go. This Strawberry one was exceptional as it was extremely refreshing and had a clean aftertaste to it which was great. Definitely masterfully made kombucha... even though I am not a connoisseur with this particular beverage plenty of other Yelpers have given Glory Bucha their stamp of approval.

Previously I'd only had one brand of kombucha I've ever liked--it's apparently really easy to do kombucha poorly in my opinion. But not glory bucha! They have so many flavors, and I haven't tried one yet that I haven't liked. I bought a bottle at the farmers market for $8, and took it back to their brewery in Arlington for a $5 refill--and got a few more bottles! They also have growlers and some specials I believe. The person working was so kind to talk to and let me try a few flavors. He told me all about their history as a company--really cool that they are local to Arlington! So far I've tried the pear sage, mojito millie, pumpkin spice, and Ramona. All super good! The brewery is so cute inside, it would be great to go for a proper tasting. I'm hooked--definitely give it a shot!
