The office is a spa experience: - heated eye mask or shades - aromatherapy of your choice - music of your choice - neck pillow - blanket - mood lighting Focusing on prevention and supremely detailed at everything oral hygiene related: - products are made in-house and focused on preserving the microbiome - gentle but detailed work, my teeth have never been so clean! - the tools/techniques employed are so much less traumatizing then in conventional dentistry ie: cotton gauze instead of plastic/foam pieces to dam an area of the mouth - cognizant of comfort and stress level at all times - high awareness - will go over sections of the mouth again despite not officially working on that region/quadrant that day - follows up after appointment to see how I was doing after my deep cleaning - educational and generous with information/time, you never will feel rushed Insurance is not accepted - a super bill is provided. There is no admin person, come with patience for a 1 person show! Know that each visit will be 1:1 - so private and uninterrupted. Taren is so personal, professional and treats you like an individual. Despite only coming to this office in 2025, I can tell there is a genuine care and soul in this practice. He is in the process of removing my amalgam fillings and uses all of the protocols to do it in the safest most holistic way possible. They use no metals in his office and have a cerec machine which makes crowns, and onlays in the office so you don't have to come back another visit. My son recognized him as a dentist who made a visit to his school to talk about teeth and it's very easy to see why he's so popular with the little ones. But I've never had such a difficult time to schedule/reschedule an appointment before. I always feel like I have to take time off work or pull my son out of school or wait another month or more. Their hours are terrible. The 7am Fridays would be great if we lived closer but we'd have to leave even earlier to get through traffic and then there's no guarantee we'd be finished in an hour to get to school on time. 2pm closure on Fridays is crazy. And they close at 3pm on Tuesdays and 5pm on the other days. They are always booked solid so good luck if your child gets sick.

The office then sent a bill to not me, but my mother. Turns out they never removed me from her account when I switched insurance companies...2 years ago. They were quoting my coverage based on her insurance. But I am told that it is my fault that I should have known my own coverage. Well, that's why I ASKED to double check I was covered when I was there. Then when I called to speak to someone, they told me that checking insurance is just a courtesy. Since when!? I'm not even concerned about actually paying, it's the fact that they are telling people incorrect information. Horrible customer service by the front desk. I will be looking into other dentist offices.

At no point did anyone clearly communicate that I wouldn't receive treatment during that visit. If they had simply told me upfront that the first appointment would be limited to an exam and not include any treatment, I would have gone elsewhere or made other arrangements sooner.
