They arrived exactly on time, Spoke well, understandable and polite. They first spent time lining the home with drop cloth , covering near by furnture with plastic. It made me comfortable that they respected my property. Then, the removal of the old windows. Very little noise and very little dust or debris. After that came the install of the windows. It was seamless, everything fit perfectly. Then, the trim work and finish trim. This is where I feel high quality carpenters are needed for a good install The team at Window Solution Plus, has great carpentry skills. The trim work both inside and outside look terrific. Spot on. The next stage was cleanup. It wasn't a 15 minute rush job. Instead, it was a well executed professional job, lasting over 1 hour. Vacuuming, dusting inside. Actually washing certain areas of the floor. Then the coup de grace, they go around the property near the outside of windows and pick-up debris by hand, then vacuum. When they leave , the inside and outside is perfect. Before I hired the company, Steve, along with manager Manuel Amarillo, were very generous with their time and provided me with a variety of products and quotes. In fact, the "leading brand" window company that I had previously conducted business with now "requires" two homeowners for a window quote. Really? What a demeaning tactic. Anyway, I made the right decision by hiring Window Depot. From start to finish, Manny communicated with me every step of the way and showed up at the exact time promised and handled the job efficiently with a smile on his face. The team also includes Louis, Jeffrey and Pedro. EVERYONE on the team is friendly, professional, honest and accommodating in every way. Window Depot's windows are USA-made, energy-efficient and come in a variety of timeless styles and designs. Interestingly, after a relatively long wait, the factory delivered a defective window, but it was replaced almost immediately by the factory. They really are a five-star company. Now I recommend VL to all of you. We have been shopping for lighting as we update the outside of our 1970's CT colonial and our kitchen. Countless websites with thousands of pictures led to some frustration and we decided to go visit some lighting stores. Some stores may be highly recommended but are really for designers, they are by appointment only, have a very limited supply for a showroom, but offer a really big screen so you can browse their website (ugh!) Others have a bigger supply in the showroom and have nice people who understand lighting. Then there is Valley Lighting! They had a huge selection to look at (and touch) a friendly staff who really knew their inventory, availability and options and were also full of ideas that made us open up the options we were considering. We worked with Zac and he was really great as we waffled on every aspect from design, color, and size. We settled on a design for the outdoor lights in about 20 minutes, after searching for the last several weeks. We purchased 2 Large, 2 Medium, and 2 Small lights to mount on the exterior as well as 3 post lights for the driveway. They also had a huge selection of lightbulbs and guided us through witch wattage and color would work best for our application. This seems elementary that a lighting store would do this, but I haven't seen it elsewhere. We were able to bring home two lights which I mounted (pictured) and the rest were ordered and we expect them in 2 weeks. Now that we accomplished this project it is time to finalize the kitchen lights and for that we will certainly return to VL.

They didn't finish the first job. They say they will resolve and call back. They don't. They took money for another job they promised to start and finish the other job. They just took money and then went absolutely quiet. Made false promises. Scammed me out of more money then job was contracted. This will not go unpunished. I will do whatever is necessary to inflict maximum reputational harm which is deserved. And pursue for legal damages. No licensed plumbers or electricians. The whole place needs to be redone. It will be at his costs. This will be out of business anyway. No business can survive the way he runs this mess. He simply books the job and subs out to contractor with no oversight. He makes things worse for himself and homeowner. He does not show up on sight. If you pick him you are basically the GC of people he has sub contracted to and the communications are terrible with no accountability. Subs blame him and always fixing thing that should have been correct the first time. I am pissed. I will do whatever is necessary to make sure no one else has these problems. It is simply his own self inflicted damage. He says people owe him money and for you to get the job done he needs more money even when he is paid in full for the job. Once you pay him more. He disappears. It's a scam. I don't know how these people live with themselves. If they can't handle the job or live up to the contract do they really have to steal from customers mid job. It's sad. In 2015 Bella Home Improvements,Shelton, CT was hired to replace a roof in a multi-family property…read more When they started the work tenants complained they were throwing the shingles and nails from the roof to the ground (no tarps), left all the debris overnight on the five staircases that give access to all the units as well as driveway and plant beds. Years later there were some leaks on top floor ceilings. Another company made flashing repairs. Recently tenants called informing that shingles were falling down for all the front overhangs. We became concerned about the work that had been done by Bella Home Improvements,Shelton,CT and called another company to check the all roof. We were chocked to find out that the roof was in such a bad condition that they were afraid to walk on it . When they start removing the shingles they realized there were no clips holding the plywood. A new roof is supposed to last more than9years. WE WERE SCAMMED!
