During the crazy storm in August of 2020, many people in our town couldn't reach Cannondale to fix their generators. We decided on A&J because of how communicative they were - they worked around the clock during that storm to help their customers. Since then, we've had nothing but positive experiences with A&J. Our generator is getting up there in age, so we had to have several service calls this year. We were able to immediately reach someone via phone and email. Each time they sent someone over quickly. One time, our generator stopped working overnight during a power outage. We called them at 5am and they had someone at our house by 7am. This guy was hired to maintain my generator. Of course the first time the power went out the…read moregenerator didn't go on and we were without electricity. He came to take a look and told us we needed $1000 worth of parts to fix it. After waiting a few days and him still not showing up to fix it and with another storm coming we called in another generator company. Within 15 minutes they fixed the problem, said no parts were needed and we just had a faulty wire. We asked if there was any way a professional generator company could diagnose the problem with us needing $1000 in parts. His reply was "only if he was looking to screw you." We checked around with someone else we know and he did a similar thing. He told them they needed $1000 in parts and the next generator guy came in and said the parts he replaced cost $60! Very unfortunate this guy is so unscrupulous. He presents himself as a standup guy but is ultimately anything but.
