I had a new roof and gutters put on by Bella Home Improvement, LLC in the spring of 2014. Other than having an issue with the slope of one of the gutters, we were happy with the work. Fast forward to July 19, 2016. We had two rain storms that caused the roof to leak into our upstairs bathroom. Our newly installed insulation was soaked through, the sheetrock needs replacing, and water was pouring through the ceiling fan light. I started contacting Bella via email after contacting our home owner's insurance company, who said we should try to get the roofers to fix this under their workmanship warranty. I contacted them via email on 19July2016, and received a reply that day that they would look into my file. I have not heard back from them since, despite multiple emails, phone calls, and voicemails. The only time Scott did answer my call was when I called from someone else's phone where he didn't recognize the number. This was August 4, 2016. He apologized for not getting back to me sooner, and explained that this is their "busy time". He said he would be out to look at my roof the next day, or possibly that weekend. He has yet to come out to our house to determine if the roof was leaking, or if the vent cap (also installed by Bella at the time of roof installation) got stuck in the open position. Since this time, I have called and emailed, again with no answer or reply. My husband and I went with this company because they seemed professional, and offered not only material warranties, but workmanship warranties as well. In my opinion, a warranty is worthless if the company doesn't honor it. Additionally, their website says they are a BBB accredited business, and the BBB website says they are not. I have photos and video of the leaking ceiling at the time of the rain storm for reference if needed. read more
