They have a…read moregreat selection of everything from fresh produce to instant noodles, seasoning packs, juices, canned meats, sauces, frozen foods, and snacks--basically all the essentials in one place. The food court is a big bonus and something we look forward to every visit. With the live grill and multiple spots for comfort food, it's easy to eat before heading home. On top of that, shops seem to be renovating or popping up almost every month, so it feels like a new experience each time we visit. They also have fresh bakeries and desserts to take home, which is always tempting. Prices are great with a membership card, and every trip feels like a Costco-style stock-up run. Just remember to keep your grocery receipt handy since carts are checked at the exit.

So we went and it indeed had everything. The longest line was for Grill City. In all honesty, I feel like Grill City is a bit overhyped. The kare kare didn't taste like my father-in-law's. He makes the best kare kare. But you can't beat home cooking. Too bad my FIL is in CA. The liempo was good, but how can you really mess up grilled pork belly? However, I did like Sizzle. Their bangus sisig on a grilled platter was so delicious! I was jealous of my husband's pick. I also really loved the items at Valerio. Reminds me of Panorama City in CA. Everything here was light and bright and it smelled clean. Would I come back? Only if I'm in town. Next time I'll bring a big cooler.

I frequent here for bargains like seasonal items like moon cakes月餅, New Year cakes年糕and other casual pastries displayed at the entrance. Most of my trinkets for my annual Lunar New Year UYE's are found here: White Rabbit Milk Candies大白兔奶糖, Morinaga Milk Caramel 森永牛奶糖, Chinese New Year's shortcake candies 徐福記酥心糖 and Point 100 Gummi Candies. This is my go-to place for my medicinal soups and ready-made traditional Chinese medicines (TCM 中藥) - all made by reputable companies. They have high end stuff I couldn't touch: birds' nest 燕窩, ginseng 人蔘, ganoderma 靈芝and exotic herbal medicines. Whenever I need anything for my house, I come to Hong Kong Seafood City because all merchandise is imported directly from the sources. I am never disappointed with the friendly staff's recommendation. They helped me decide for each occasion. The prices are always competitive and products are always fresh. Don't be misled by the category, this "seafood market" sells dried, frozen or canned seafood. Don't expect fish tank here.

I couldn't understand half the stuff bc they're not all labeled in English. This is no frills steam table/cafeteria style Vietnamese on the back of probably the largest Vietnamese grocery store in Houston and it is great. Pricing starts at $6.99 for rice and two entrees but goes up based on the rice/noodle type and the entrees selected. All of ours (3) were 8.99, but packed (the kids tapped out early) and delicious. I had this beef stew that you would otherwise only find at someone's grandma's house that was killer. Got some turnip cake on the side but everything looked good. You've got to be brave if you're apprehensive about your communication skills, but no risk no reward

The store can get pretty busy, but that's usually a good sign of how popular it is. Prices are reasonable, and you can find things here you won't see at regular grocery stores. It's not the most organized place, but if you take your time, you'll find what you need (and probably a few extras). Definitely a go-to for specialty items.

I had the fried Tilapia and rice. If they were in any other part of town, they could easily charge double what they charge and it'd still be fair. If you're in the Discount Tire next door and hungry and thinking about eating here, keep in mind that they don't have dine-in but the food will taste just as good if you sit on the curb and eat it while you watch them work on your tires. Please don't eat seafood inside the Discount Tire...that's not cool.

It remained filthy. Today I got the Saturday special buffalo wings. My order was prepared promptly. Unfortunately, the filth from my previous visits and this one lead me to NOT recommend this restaurant. I have a concern that the buffalo sauce is to cover up a bad taste in the chicken. You can get the wings without sauce but they would not be included in the Saturday special. I do not recommend this restaurant. GN3
