I apreciated Honore's having a few games for the kids to keep them busy while the adults eat and chat. Maybe a little corner of the patio should be dedicated for them so theyre not in the middle of other patrons. Just a thought. Come early and order. Happy Hour before it ended literally had the line to order out to patio! There is a drive up pick up location on the east side of the building but how you order ahead? Didn't see anything on the website... I ordered the poboy with catfish and fries. When I picked up the to go plate, I just knew somebody's order had been combined with mine because the bag was heavy! Turns out they give Humongous portions at Honore's. Only thing: Although, I didnt ask for tartar sauce, no ketchup or cocktail sauce with my to go order. Still the poboy wad fresh and filled from end to end with catfish. Fries were hot and fresh in the take out box and not too salty, so I had to enjoy a few before leaving. Most definetly you have to order the coveted boudin balls. I got a small pack of both the original and pepper jack since they were on sale for Happy Hour. They didn't disapppoint. They were slightly bigger than a golf ball and the gooey pepper jack cheese was a great compliment to the crunchy exterior. Topped with Remoulade or Ranch and I got pretty full just off Boudin balls. The miss for me is the frozen drinks- especially the frozen Hurricane slushy. Tasted like medicine, but about an hour later I did feel a little kick from the drink. My friend agreed but tried the blue flavor and stated it was better than the hurricane. We enjoyed our little meet up at Honore's so much, we lost track of time. Four hours of girl chat and good food happens that way. Thanks Honore's for making our evening!

I tried the French Quarter and my friend had the Mack Daddy's Hangover Burger. I want to vent regarding the parking situation. All the outside parking places are only for people who have a parking app, & pay for the privilege of patronizing businesses. The French Quarter was excellent the cornbread at the bottom was soft and flavorful with a tiny kick of heat! The crawfish were perfectly cooked in a savory sauce. The only thing I would change is the eggs were cooked about 7 - 10 seconds too long congealing the yolk. Other than that my dish war perfect. My friend's Mack Daddy's Hangover he said was outstanding! He could only finish half, the rest he said would be lunch tomorrow. Paul, our waiter was attentive and responsive. This was expected and performed flawlessly. I recommend this restaurant, but they do not get 5 stars. GN3

It was very…read morewell-prepared, very delicious in every bite and contained numerous flavors in one giant meal. The turkey leg was super tender n came right off the bone. The meat was consistently soft, juicy, moist, well-seasoned and smoky. The mac n cheese wasn't as creamy n thick with yellow cheddar as I normally prefer, but it was still very good from supple seasoning, crawfish n shrimp. Seafood mac is really good like this with a similar style to the one from Ruth's Chris. The shrimp n crawfish themselves even tasted good alone. The cheese with the mac didn't overpower the seafood flare and vice versa. The creole cheese sauce on the rice was very good and seasoned with a nice spice to it. The jambalaya was especially savory and flavorful with great moisture as well as seasoning obviously. In TX, this has been the best jambalaya I have had so far. The sausage pieces were tasty and a little crispy too. Great, fast service. I just discovered this place 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon from a popular reviewer and had to try it. I will be back in the future.

Customer service was ok but not welcoming, had to just call out the order, only to learn what they didn't have available. The board was somewhat confusing, food items listed on the board that says out of stock but some crossed out meant they were in stock again. Overall the food was freshly prepared and hot but over seasoned. I ordered the fish and seafood rice combo. I don't usually eat tilapia as I forgot to ask what type of fish they serve. It was fried with crispy crust but the batter comes off, had it not been extremely salty I could've enjoyed it. They gave 3 fillets which was surprising but again the seasoning was overpowering it all. The combo had a few options to pair, but the seafood rice i chose was more of a sample serving with 3 fillets. So I'm glad I added another side. It always a risk with the mac and cheese because depending on what cheese, or if they make a roux or do baked mac you just have to try and see. Unfortunately it ended up being a horrible addition! Oh my gosh it was seasoned like a piece of chicken, some seasoning you can't combine if they all have salt in them. Also an after taste of too much garlic was in the mac and rice, they honestly tasted the exact same way. The rice was ok, honestly the best item on the plate. I can say I've never had seafood rice with yellow/orange bell peppers, definitely changed the flavor. I wouldn't order this again but I would try the turkey legs.
