YES. YES. YES. that's the best way to describe this crawfish. Baby, they were spicy and juicy!! The crabs were full and the turkey neck was HUGE. I'm from New Orleans and I'm so happy I found somewhere with crawfish that's actually done RIGHT. read more

So good food is amazing. Doesn't taste like every crawfish business, which is a good thing.

The nastiest, most dirtiest crawfish I ever had in my life. Y'all should really be ashamed of yourselves. The crawfish barely had any meat in them, looked like they were dead before they may have been cooked & the water was dirty af, which lets me know they weren't purged correctly. & the wait was long for cold food. My FIRST & LAST time ever coming here. I could've saved money & went elsewhere or made my food at home because this was ABSOLUTELY not worth it. read more

Me and the family use to eat here all the time years ago. I recently decided to revisit and I'm so saddened by what i got. My crawfish were mushy and not properly cleaned. The "juice" in my bag was muddy look and smelled bad. On top of that it was SALTY, like not just heavily seasoned but high blood pressure giving salty. Waste of $50 smh yall please do better. PURGE the crawfish until clean and don't give people old mushy broken up bits of salty crawfish read more

Love love love! I am a Louisiana style crawfish girl and Bayou Kitchen never disappoints. Full of flavor from the head to the tail!

I ordered a pound of crawfish & a pound of shrimp tonight. I ate some of my crawfish & the last few smelt soooo bad. It smelt like sewer water.. like feces a lil bit. I don't even wanna say in detail but it STUNK. So then I tried the shrimp.. each one I picked up just STUNKKKK omg. I can't believe this!! Idk if it's the water they done put in the bag or what but I'm so yucked out. I nearly threw up!! Please smell that food before you eat it read more

The Hubs and I were told to try this place for some good crawfish and they play football games. My husband's friend wasn't jiving! The crawfish was GOOD! Seasoned to perfection through and through, just how I like them! They were small but it's the beginning of the year so it was expected but with seasoning like that, who cares what size the crawfish is right now. The boil shrimp and snow crabs were ok, not seasoned to the heaven like the crawfish! We will be back. read more

Alot better than we thought coming from food truck. Live boil crawfish not frozen. True Louisiana style crawfish. Only con, there no spice level. And it comes super spicy hot hot! Overall, 4/5 flavor on point & juicy inside. read more

I went got a half of dozen crabs for $17.99 and I swear only 1 had meat. the rest was EMPTY. I feel so played I will NEVER eat or recommend anyone to eat here. He knew what he was giving me when you pick them up to place them in the bag! bad service!!!! $17.99 for 6 crabs for 5 to be E M P T Y. They won't be getting another dollar from me or know no one I know! read more

The crawfish here is the best in Houston Texas I promise you. The size is always so great, the flavor is immaculate, as it is on the spicier side which I love. Service is always great. I've never waited very long, the inside seating thoughhhhh, its not very inviting . I would not bring someone there to impress them. They are only there to sit and eat, do not expect luxury anything. It kinda looks like a shack/ hole in the wall, and that's perfectly OK with me because I'm there to bust down that CRAWFISH, that is so delicious 20 stars!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Worst crawfish I've ever tasted. Not to mention I should have called the health department on them. They've got a dog caged up behind the counter that kept barking. Crawfish didn't have any seasoning, like whatsoever. The juice in the crawfish bag was pure water. I do not recommend, only reason I came here was cause Danny's was closed. Please reconsider before swiping your card. read more

This was literally the best batch of authentic crawfish I've had in Houston! When I pulled up they were just getting started so they looked closed. A staff member came out to let me know that they were cooking and would be ready soon. She gave me a pager for when my order was ready. The only thing that would make this better would be if they set up tables and speakers. The next time you want some GOOD crawfish without the pool of butter and sauce, pull up to Bayou Kitchen Crawfish Kings! read more

This place is not the best crawfish in the world. They should take that sign down. Wasted my money yesterday. The crawfish and sausage tasted like they were cooked a day or 2 before. There was a lot that tasted like they were already dead before cooking. If you plan to eat there it is literally connecting to an old ice house/ hole in the wall AND they don't sell drinks. It BYOB. Not returning back because I refuse to waste more money. The only positive was they were nice people. I have roots in Lafayette, LA and this was a sheer disappointment. read more

I started to order for their delivery service however i decided to call in instead. The lady who answered the phone was extremely polite and honest. We ended up ordering everything over the phone to-go. Mrs. T was accurate with the pick up time: By the time we got there, our food was only 5 min behind schedule and she was very apologetic. She offered us plenty of amenities until we were satisfied. We ordered crawfish, crab, potatoes, shrimp...literally everything on the menu. The food DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I will literally drive 30 min for the service and the food. I will definitely be back. Thank you for everything. read more

I've been coming to this place for years now and the crawfish are ALWAYS seasoned to perfection, the prices are always good, and the turkey necks are amazing. The reason I am only giving four stars is because lately they have not been purged properly. I spend the majority of my time picking out grass and excess dirt. I love the atmosphere and that it is family owned but I may be finding a new spot soon. read more

The crawfish (and all boiled seafood) is fresh, clean, live, spicy, and delicious. The service is always professional and they are always fast. The environment is clean and very comfortable. Not to mention it's BYOB my type place. read more

Can I give them 6 stars?! Seriously, the BEST crawfish in Houston. My boyfriend who is not even a crawfish fan wanted to order a few more pounds after almost eating all of mine. I can't believe that I hadn't tasted these sooner. I definitely know where I'll be spending the rest of the crawfish season. If you order more than $6 LB the price goes down to $6.99, you can't find prices or flavor better than Bayou Kitchen Crawfish Kings. read more

Every time I come to Houston, I make an order. When I tell you it's absolutely heaven?!? Living in NC so I don't get a chance to enjoy my home state (LA) food drives me crazy but this makes it better. This past weekend while visiting Houston, I thought they were closed (almost cried) but the guys came out and brightened my day. I usually get between 5-10 lbs. Their price is reasonable plus the taste!! Spicy with flavor!!!! Can't wait to grab some more in the next 3 weeks!! read more

The crawfish here is actually pretty good. I can taste all of the flavors that are necessary to a good batch of crawfish--butter, lemon, garlic, and spice. I had some yesterday, and for it to be the very end of March, there were way too many small crawfish on my tray. Because the flavor was so good, I will definitely be back to give them one more go, before I write them off. Also, they boil regular potatoes. Everyone knows that brown Irish potatoes DO NOT go with crawfish. Note to owner: START USING SMALL RED POTATOES!!! The real address is 15495 south post oak blvd, 77053!! read more

Ok so i saw this truck for a few years and never knew they were open (was never a line ) but a friend of mines asked me to go with her and from that day froward I've been every weekend now i understand why it's never a line they move sooo fast and it's a bar behind them lol very convenient but when i got my 8 lbs it was one bag i was almost pissed til we got home and saw how big they were with meaty claws the biggest I've had in Houston PERIODT!!!! I usually like mines super spicy but they didn't ask so i just figured they'll be hotter ‍no biggie tho still bomb af we also had 3 potatoes & corny but i hate to say they weren't seasoned at all (something I'm Noticing all over Houston ) & off all the times I've been it's only one bad experience & i kinda blame myself cause i went right before closing the crawfish were still big just had a few smelly ones and i threw out the rest of that sack to avoid being sick read more

I went for crawfish and was not disappointed. The crawfish only has one way that it comes, not different flavors like some places. This is Authentic Louisiana Crawfish. The sizes were small to large. I really hate the small ones. The sausage is on point as well. I got a daiquiri and it was pretty weak though. I will definitely come back. This was my 2nd visit here. read more
