I have been eating crawfish for over 30 years and these are by far the best I have ever had. If I could eat them everyday I would. I usually don't eat crawfish until later in the year but if he say the season started it has. The seasoning is perfect, the spice is perfect, the size is perfect. Got back in the car and called to place an order. No one answered. The grade A crawfish are great size and worth it. 2.5 per pound is right on time for what's provided. i recommend pre ordering your crawfish with the owner to guarantee you have product. He has a loyal client base that show up to get crawfish. he also sells shrimp. i'll look into ordering several pounds of shrimp soon enough. read more

The crawfish were great ..... but the customer service from one of the men preparing the crawfish was absolutely horrendous. I always try to take my dollars to black own businesses BUT never will I ever pay my hard earn money to be cursed and disrespected ever again. One of the owner told me that my ice chest was too small and that the additional crawfish would be placed in an aluminum tray. Well that person load up the truck, I guess to make deliveries, and so now I'm dealing with another person who was actually cooking the crawfish after making me wait for my crawfish he comes out of the truck and say that my crawfish was ready at 1:30 so now his 2:00 is here and he's gonna give that man the crawfish that is ready and will drop some more for me, cause he wants them to be fresh. Mind you when I got there no one there, but me, and I waited patiently for crawfish that should have been ready when I got there ... but I did not say any ... the guy that was loading truck told me it would be another six minutes. So I say him how long is that gonna take .... and that was when he lost his mind with me the first time .... And walked off talking trash. Then he comes out with my cooler, and this little small cooler is half full, I say "that is not a sack of crawfish." Mind you I boil crawfish all the time and know what 30 - 33 lb sack of crawfish look like. Everyone here said that was not 30 lbs of crawfish. OMG this guy lost his mind a second time and cussed me for everything but a child of God ... so I say "you know what" .... "it's okay ... just give my money back" my thought is I paid you $178 for a sack of crawfish and I was told that it would at least be 30-33 lbs and that is not what I was getting. But Mr. MAN told me he wasn't given me "A MOTHA F'FING THING" he went on to saying "These MF'ers always think somebody trying to cheat them" oh he said a mouth full ... it was so many MF's and F you's it wasn't funny. I don't know what made him think that his behavior was acceptable, but it absolutely was not. I did not curse him, or call him out of his name ... and even though he went back and put more crawfish in the cooler (after all the cussing and fussing ) it still was not the 30-33 lbs of crawfish as stated on the phone. But never again. You can take the ghetto behavior somewhere else. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I tried J'Bon crawfish at a friend's house for the first time, they were not bad. Today after a 12 hour work day, and a 1 hour drive home, just before I made it home I stopped by J'Bon to support a black owned food truck business and pick up 3 lbs of crawfish to go. There were 4 cars in front of me, he said my order would be right up after them. After all 4 cars pulled off 3 more cars pulled in. He immediately prepared their order and cashed them out, they looked like regulars and/or friends of his that received their order before me. 40 MINUTES later I'm still waiting on my 3 pounds of crawfish. I decided to leave WITHOUT THE CRAWFISH!!! Totally unacceptable! This is why it's so hard to support your own people. S/N looks like even if you call the order in he's going to prepare the order whenever you arrive which defeat the purpose of the call in order which pushes the awaiting customers further back in the line waiting 40 minutes plus like myself.
