They tend to only open on the weekends, but for crawfish season it's been Thursday-Sunday. I totally recommend their boiled crawfish! Currently it's $6/lb boiled, with every 5lbs complimentary 1 corn & 2 potatoes. I love to get their wicked flavor (garlic butter) and add a sausage link ($2). Their crawfish boil is seasoned well! They also sell fresh seafood based on season from oysters, shrimps, blue crabs, crawfish, snow crabs, etc.

I only wish it had an extra frozen food aisle for more easy cook Korean food and stews, as I definitely am missing some staples I'd have picked up in the NY/NJ Hmarts. But they do have a lot of variety of Asian food and more, which makes it an easy one stop shop to plan out your week/month for all the different cuisines you can eat. I also personally wished they kept the ready to easy lunch boxes and such either under a heat lamp or in the fridge, but maybe I'm just paranoid (NYC is super strict and even have their own food handler licensing agency compared to Houston). But I do love knowing I can grab a quick lunch or dinner from here (go past the produce area to the back right corner). Cashiers have generally been pretty friendly too and not to jinx myself, but even when it's busy, the vibe here hasn't felt terrible or super chaotic.

Now we have discussed the Pro's, let's talk about the Con's....location is not so great, not that you are in danger or anything, but it's mostly a crowded parking lot. I've experienced the inconvenience of parking mostly on Friday or Saturday nights when the strip is more active. Not only that, the pot holes, if you don't watch it, will cost you a rim. Food is great enough to put up with the Con's since you will be in and out, and as I always say, I don't have to live here, just picking up food!

At the counter, I ordered the (fried) 3 shrimp and 3 fish meal that comes with fries and salad for $7.50. I added a can of Coke (no diet options) as their soft drinks are all in cans except for Mexican Coke in bottles. Total meal cost with tax was under $10. The food came out in about 10 minutes. Taste wise everything was ok. The shrimp were butterflied and with a dark brown crust and the fish fillets were light brown. Fries were frozen. The meal was filling and inexpensive.

It is smallish but they have a lot of selections of many Asian cultures represented. I bought the spring rolls, mini Persian cucumbers, green leaf lettuce, teobokki packaged and chips. Most of their products are what you would find and the prices are reasonable. They have farm fresh eggs and prepared meals and desserts. I didn't know what everything but everyone was smiling and wanted to help. I just like that now we can get our products here instead of driving so far. Next time, I'm going to try a plate and dessert. I want places like this to stay open so it's not just fast food around here. Everyone needs to go!!
