I love this place! Someone I knew told me this would be a great place to take the kids on our summer beach trip! We paid I think $70 for us all to jump for the last hour. This was for a family of four including the socks. Going at the last hour before they closed was perfect because it was basically empty! We got to have the place basically to ourselves and the kids had a blast. We are the kind of parents that jump with the kids so all the kids that were there was playing with us because there were no other parents jumping in with their kids. Which I get! It's a lot! The place was clean and there were arcade games too. The staff was nice and there is plenty of parking. I will definitely come back here again!

We had a great time visiting this location on vacation. There was so much for my two-year-old to do, including jumping balance being video games, even a large jungle gym that she was able to play in. We went on a weekday so it wasn't overcrowded. She had enough space to run around and not be trampled by older. Kids will definitely visit again.

Leap off the high dive!

We finally ventured into Shell We Bounce on a rainy day! The place is nicely kept and definitely kid friendly for all ages. They have a medium sized soft playground with probably 20 arcade games. The rest of the building is filled with awesome trampolines. There's a dodgeball room, balance beams, jousting activities, etc. There's a "high dive" into a gigantic air bag, which is a huge attraction! The kids had so much fun! It's definitely less pricey than Urban Air up in Newark, DE. We'll absolutely be back!

Trash and dirty sticky floor

It wasn't as big as I'd thought. I Saw pictures with inflatables and there weren't any. The little kids area was very small and didn't hold their interest. Nothing like in the pictures. The biggest reason I'm rating this a 2 is because of how filthy and run down the place was along with the staff. Trash everywhere- on the arcade games, floor, play area. I didn't dare to eat or drink from here. Even the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty. It looks fairly newer but the place needs lots of TLC. Broken glass on one of the arcade machines, painters tape over broken pieces of other machines, play area padding ripped or damaged, one of the bolts on the slide was missing a cap and had tape over top of it. Real shotty band aids work over fixing and repairs. I saw people working there but no one was available behind the ticket counter or the food area. Lots of employees hanging out in the employee area. It was weird. Like no one was "working". The staff also didn't enforce any type of rules. Not sure why they're even there. Maybe hire less people since your paying them to do nothing- and use that money to fix up and make repairs....just a thought.

I was excited to see how much they have to offer. There was one section that wasn't up and running which was a bummer. None of the staff were very involved at all. Some times it was hard to tell which kids were employees and which were there to jump. All of that aside we had a blast. I especially enjoyed the balance beam where you joust another person off. Not sure what that's called. You are required to purchase their socks for $2 I'm sure you can bring them for next time. They had a cafe where you could buy snacks and drinks. There was also a lounge area overlooking the entire place where parents could hang out in recliners, that was cool! 2 hours was plenty for us! We will be back

Headed to Shell we Bounce on a Friday evening around 8pm. Perfect timing! The facility was clean and uncrowded. Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. This was a fun activity to do with the kids (and adults)!

This would be a fun place, if the arcade machines actually worked. Half of them were out of order, or the 2-person games were half - broken.

My adult family and I did the 5 ride pack so we did each course once, than chose our favorites to do a second time. Any more than that would've been too much for us, but most people that were there had the 8 ride bracelet. Some of the races we thought too many people were on the track, but some people think it's more fun that way. We are all a bit sore the next day (bruised knees and backs from the force of the karts). The carts are small so anyone over 6' might have a tough time fitting.

I almost just opted for Jungle Jim's instead and changed my mind at the last minute figuring we would just deal with the teenagers working in order to do what we wanted. We arrived at 10:20 am (they opened at 10) and went right up to buy the full day pass. This allowed us all day access to the water park, and 4 ride tickets and mini golf. The go karts had zero wait times and the boys working were all helpful and nice. We did 2 rides and then went to the water park. TONS of available tables all with umbrellas. The mountain slides were a lot of fun as were the regular water slides. Lazy River was a hit and when I just wanted to cool off alone, I went into the pool because it wasn't busy. The nice thing about the water park is you can come and go with the wrist band. We stayed for about 2 hours and left to eat lunch at another place, then drove back and finished our final go kart rides, did mini golf and spent another 2 hours at the water park. A lot of parking options. The bathroom stalls are a little difficult to get in and out of because the doors swing in almost hitting the toilet. My kids and I had a great time! All of the lifeguards were great, to be honest the only somewhat unfriendly person was the older lady working the ticket booth upon arrival.

There are age-appropriate games and rides for the young and mature, making this the ideal family-friendly fun park. The rides are ticket-operated like many beach town fun parks. I kept some of the tickets as a memento. There are some instant-win prize arcade games to play, which again adds to this place's charm. They also offer popcorn, pretzels, drinks, and ice cream for sale. One thing to note is the ride attendants adhere to and strictly enforce the minimum height requirements for some of its rides, like bumper cars. I witnessed attendants turn away multiple kids who did not meet minimum height requirements despite the kids crying, screaming, and their parents visibly heartbroken that that they had to console their kids. I also observed some parents even question the determination by some ride attendants to deny their child entry to a ride despite the height measurement guideline being conspicuous; which I thought was odd. I understand parents do not want to see their children upset, however it is also true that no parent wants to see their child injured on a carnival ride when it could have been prevented. Overall, a very fun experience and my rule of thumb is if the kids love it, I love it too. I'll visit again when at Rehoboth Beach.

They don't do it for the money. They don't do it for the…read morecheer. They do it for the glory. And beer, and fried pickles, and turkey legs, and pumpkin funnel cake. At least that's what I'm assuming why some grown men and women would voluntarily want to build a catapult or air vessel to launch a pumpkin in the air the length of 13 football fields. The only thing you win is a gnome trophy. This was one of the few times I went to Delaware for non-surfing reasons. I have to say I'm starting to like this small state more if this is one of their official state sports. This is a three day spectacle, The Superbowl of Pumpkin Chucking. Basically, I spent my Sunday listening to drunk people scream "Fire in the Hole" and throw/destroy stuff, basically it's like an average Sunday at my house but outdoors and with new faces. So here's how it works. You drive to some corn field in the middle of Bridgeville (use GPS), pay $10 bucks, park and discover the sights and smells of this world championship. There are rides for the little ones, all kinds of fried foods, chili and barbeque, even a beauty pageant. And then you have the piece de la resistance, the mechanical engineering masterpieces that rocket pumpkins into the sky from three different types of "chunkers": catapults, trebuchets and air cannons. Here's an explanation: Air Cannon Uses compressed air to launch a pumpkin.Air is compressed into a tank. When the constraint holding that air is removed, air expands back to its normal volume. The result is released air acts like a spring and forces the pumpkin through the tube at great volume, expelling the pumpkin out with a big boom. Centrifugal air vessel/cannon has an arm that spins at least 360 degrees to launch a pumpkin. The spin accelerates the pumpkin, and each rotation gains more and more momentum until it can build up enough energy to propel the pumpkin forward. Catapult Uses stretched springs or rubber bands. When the springs or bands are pulled and then released, the stored up energy is transferred to the arm of the device, which hurls the pumpkin. A torsion catapult uses twisted rope. The rope stores mechanical energy when it is twisted. The amount of force it releases is proportional to the amount it is twisted. Trebuchet Transforms the potential energy stored in the lifted heavy mass into the kinetic energy that is the motion of the smaller mass (the pumpkin). It uses a short arm, which is weighted down with a heavy object to counterbalance against the long arm, where the projectile (the pumpkin) is placed. When the heavy mass of the short arm falls down, it provides energy to fling the long arm. So how do I know all this? For one reason, I dyed over all the blonde highlights in my hair recently and now can retain more information, and secondly I was right behind the discovery channel camera men and Mythbuster people. The time in between launchings is long, and there was an hour long break due to a spotter getting hit by a flying pumpkin. Luckily there's lots of entertainment (beauty pageant, rides, Pumpkin cornhole) and food (chili cook off tent, Smoked Turkey Legs, Bar-B-Q Ribs, Chicken, Baked Potato,Dipped and Fried Vegetables,Cheesecake-on-a-stick) to keep you occupied. It's a very family friendly event, so bring your offspring and teach them hands on lessons about energy and mass, or they can just hold your beer for you.
