Yesterday we were here for my nieces 5th birthday. What could've been a disaster turned out to be a really nice party. We had booked a room for 10 jumpers 3 weeks prior, but the week of the party were notified by the general manager that there was an error in their system that was causing parties to be double booked. So we were asked to move the party to the picnic tables instead. We could've been those angry parents that threw a temper tantrum over the whole mishap, but instead we practiced kindness and empathy. It was very obvious to me that the general manager was upset over the whole thing because that is a very difficult conversation to have and if it were you, you'd be upset too. I can imagine how many upset parents she had to deal with. I was really grateful for how accommodating they were for our party despite the chaos. She gave us a nice discount and some game cards for the kids. They were also present every step of the way with helping us decorate, dish out pizza and cake, and clean up. Since we went on a weekday, it wasn't crowded at all, which made it even better for the kids to enjoy themselves. There is a kids area, an area to flip into what looks like a large airbag, a basketball hoop for kids and larger kids/adults, an adult area and a large common area to jump across. It is a great place to take the kids. My only concern is that the area is not secure so kids need to be monitored so they don't leave the area. I recently went to a children's museum that had an alarmed door so the kids were secure during their play time. That might be a good idea for this and adding a water fountain and restrooms within the play area. There were monitors in each area so it was safe. It wasn't really crowded but I'm wondering if there is a limit to the amount of people per hour. If it got too crowded then it could be dangerous. I almost just opted for Jungle Jim's instead and changed my mind at the last minute figuring we would just deal with the teenagers working in order to do what we wanted. We arrived at 10:20 am (they opened at 10) and went right up to buy the full day pass. This allowed us all day access to the water park, and 4 ride tickets and mini golf. The go karts had zero wait times and the boys working were all helpful and nice. We did 2 rides and then went to the water park. TONS of available tables all with umbrellas. The mountain slides were a lot of fun as were the regular water slides. Lazy River was a hit and when I just wanted to cool off alone, I went into the pool because it wasn't busy. The nice thing about the water park is you can come and go with the wrist band. We stayed for about 2 hours and left to eat lunch at another place, then drove back and finished our final go kart rides, did mini golf and spent another 2 hours at the water park. A lot of parking options. The bathroom stalls are a little difficult to get in and out of because the doors swing in almost hitting the toilet. My kids and I had a great time! All of the lifeguards were great, to be honest the only somewhat unfriendly person was the older lady working the ticket booth upon arrival.
