Different store but same chain and owner. Son took car to get car washed on 6/26/24. Car wash tore off driver side mirror so he filled out a claim form. Talked to manager who said all she could do was send the form to corporate and she couldn't do anything more than that. She couldn't provide a working number and the form said to talk to the store manager...... Was able to track down the corporate info and left about a dozen messages to try to get someone to address the claim over the past 3 months. No callbacks and would always go to voicemail. Think twice about using their car wash as any damage will be ignored.....

I needed a car wash but that turned into needing a repair... snapped off my rear windshield wiper arm.. AND MY CAR IS STILL DIRTY GG

This is a newly remodeled Shell gas station at 1705 Berryessa Rd in San Jose. I don't know the exact date it opened, but I'm guessing it was recently. That's because everything is brand new! Fresh and clean concrete. New pumps, vacuums, big Loop Foodmart, and spacious well lit fuel islands. This is a 24-hr station, with a carwash, and offers UL Reg/Mid/ Prem/ and Diesel. No EV Charging stations. I didn't use the carwash or use the restrooms. Located at Berryessa Rd x Lundy Ave

Dim sum conveniently available if you crave them.

Review for car wash and Loop mart. I come here when I need to get my car washed since the Shell/Loop loyalty rewards keep me coming back. You get $1 off when paying for your car wash inside at the cashier. I find the cashiers to be friendly and welcoming. I browsed around the mini mart and surprised to see dim sum offered during the morning hour which is convenient for those who crave dim sum and just grab them here.

Unfair items. Good car enter, scratched car went out!

My car got scratched after I washed my car! And an ' unfair instruction!' Worst place don't go.

Employees had to constantly reset the wash after every customer

Functionality wise: their car wash occasionally stops working and is incredibly slow. There were 3 cars in front of me and somehow I was there for almost half an hour. Happens every time I use this wash. Won't be coming back. Customer service wise: Awkward and inappropriate experience with a Loop employee. While I was putting gas in my car, I used the windshield cleaner to get some stains off my windshield and the employee walks out and starts yelling and snapping his fingers at me. He was yelling for me to pay $3.89 for something -- I paid for gas and bought a car wash so I don't know what else to pay for lol I used the windshield cleaner to get tough stains since their car wash does not get everything. If they don't want anyone using it then don't have them (but also it's a gas station). TL;DR: the employee yelled at me across the gas station at night for some unknown reason and their car wash is terrible.

Digital sign selling unlimited car wash in store

This is most fraudulent gas station I have ever been to. They have multiple signs advertising unlimited car wash program so I signed up in the parking lot. I went inside to Try to use and they said they do not accept. I tried to explain that they have signs advertising and they must accept. They insulted me and told me to leave because I was lying about the signs. I pointed to the signs and they said the signs just advertise the program and I wanted a car wash I had to go five miles away to a different Loop that does accept the unlimited car wash. If they don't accept they should not advertise and sell. Your staff should also not insult customers that are simply confused by why you are selling if you do not accept and why they do not have signs saying they do not accept.

It's decent gas with prices that tend to be lower than the Chevron right across the street. The kiosk convenience store is SMALL so avoid this if you're claustrophobic. My receipt didn't print out, which is the only reason why I walked in there. Because it's so small, they have soda machines outside too. Car wash, which I have used before, and it's your standard drive-thru car wash.

Two stars and this is me being very generous. This has become my go-to Shell gas station since my move back to the east side. Although it is a further drive for me, I'd pick the Berryessa location over the Shell located off of McKee any day. I like the fact that this establishment is clean, spacious, and getting in|out is pretty easy. Minus a few stars thanks to the rude Vietnamese lady who wears glasses. Each and every encounter with her leaves my blood boiling and not so happy thoughts fill my head. How she can always twist things to make it seem like I am inconveniencing her is BEYOND ME!! First off, your job primarily consists of you sitting on your behind all day. When customers come in, the least you can do is say 'hello'. This lady has no sense of customer service and simply sucks as a human being- she is always short, rude, and a prime example as to what an employee SHOULDN'T be!! I come back due to pure convenience. Meh.

This Shell station is the only gas station in a 2-3 mile radius that offers a car wash. Lately, their prices have been 15-18 cents cheaper than the Chevron directly across the street (can't figure out why!) The paper towels are always full stocked here. The car wash is open late here. The last time I went it was 10pm.

    not a very clean car...

    Ask the Community - Shell

This place became "s express". What is s express?

How much does it cost to use the air machine. Is it $1.50 just like the Shell at McKee and Capitol? If so, I would rather use the machine here at Berryessa, where there is more room to move around.

You can ask the cashier to turn on the machine for free. I think air is free in California.

I was able to get gas fairly quickly. However, you don't really see any signs when you pull in that leads you to the correct way of getting to the gas station part. I just knew that it was at the very front of Costco and just kind of followed my own route through the parking lot . There is sinus once you close and about to pull in the gas station and there is a do not enter if you're trying to turn in the wrong way, but not much getting to it . Once I pulled in five cars pulled in seconds later. This is a location where it is better to get gas very early. It is filled with a lot of people living in berryessa and Hostetter areas probably Milpitas too . The annoying part is some people either don't know what side their gas is on or they're just purposely going to the wrong pumps to avoid waiting-, which is annoying if you know what side your gas pump is actually on and people are in the wrong line or taking up space in your line. All in all, just get there early for your cheap gas and hope it last week. They do have signs above that are like red or green, depending on if someone is at the pump or not I didn't notice until after the fact, I just looked for open spaces on my side of the pump

I'm fairly certain they don't charge extra for credit cards. They do here. I'm not sure if businesses are encouraging cash payments because of high credit card fees or as a way to be creative with their earnings. Interestingly enough for diesel you don't pay any extra for using a credit card. I'm really not sure what this is all about. Maybe at seven dollars a gallon for diesel they figure you are getting soaked enough. Not the brightest gas station. I remember very yellow type lighting. I suppose that helps for not attracting moths - I have the same lights in my entry hall and mud room and porch lights. A stone turtle is hiding in the bushes. Its bigger than life and I suppose it gives the gas station some character. Its not the attraction of a sinclair dinosaur but at least its something.

Parking is very limited here with all sorts of people trying to pump gas, get a car wash or run in for snacks. It's a pain going in and getting out. I lost count of how many near accidents would happen when drivers are trying to pull out and they dont see oncoming traffic from the other lane. EVERYTHING is expensive here. I came in the other day because I needed a snack and a sports drink. An 8oz red bull almost cost me $4 (it was around $3.50 + tax). A simple sandwich is over $5, most of their protein bars and chips are over priced. Cashiers take forever, especially when they are in the middle of a shift change. I'm glad they have a Rotten Robbie down the street now. It's much roomier, less busy, less expensive and you save yourself alot of time and hassle. Sometimes it's worth the extra few minutes to drive there and the avoid all the BS here.
