Took my less than 3-week-old Tesla Model S here for its first wash. Got home and found multiple scratches on the rear bumper and around my car doors that weren't there before. Photos attached. This is supposed to be a paint-safe waterless hand wash -- that's literally the selling point. Whatever the technicians did, it caused exactly the kind of damage this service is supposed to prevent. Reached out to the company directly. Was told to email them the photos of damage. I'll update this review based on how they handle it. I made an appointment online with ease! To drop off the car, go into the Santana Row garage (located near Best Buy). Enter through the left lane and drive up to the Check In counter. An employee approached me to get my key and note any preferences I have. My car was covered in bugs from a road trip to Fresno so opted for the $10 add on to get rid of all the gunk. The Future Wash is super convenient and I was able to shop and grab a coffee while I waited for my car. read more

UPDATE: After this review, I had my vehicle inspected by an auto body shop and they confirmed additional front-end damage beyond the visible scrape from impact, and not a shopping cart. I have filed a police report and an insurance claim so the incident can be properly investigated. I also attempted to follow up with the business to request their garagekeeper's insurance information, but I did not receive a response. ------ I had used this car wash years ago and always had a good experience, which is why I came back. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was very different. The garage was extremely crowded and hectic. I was asked to leave my keys even though it was only an exterior wash, which I understood was so the car could be moved. When I picked up my car, I noticed a long scrape with dark and white streaks on my front right bumper that was not there when I dropped it off. When I rubbed the area, dark residue came off onto my finger, which is consistent with paint or material transfer from another object. I checked my car immediately after parking and contacted the business right away. When I reached out, they told me they reviewed footage but could not let me see it. In the first message, they stated that the car was not moved, and in a later message they stated they observed it being moved into the pickup location. I asked about this inconsistency and requested that they review or confirm what happened during the ENTIRE time my car was in their care. Instead of addressing that, they told me the conversation was concluded, canceled my membership, and refused to continue communicating. They also did not respond to my request for a refund or provide their garagekeeper's insurance information. I have since filed a police report and an insurance claim so the situation can be properly investigated, including reviewing surveillance footage from the garage. I'm sharing this because of how the situation was handled --not just the damage itself, but the lack of TRANSPARENCY and refusal to engage once questions were raised. read more

I went in expecting a full clean, but the top of my car was still dirty after the wash. The rest looked okay, but missing such an obvious area is disappointing, especially when you're paying for a car wash. I had to go back and clean part of it myself, which defeats the whole point. I also gave a 20% tip, and there wasn't even a simple "thank you" or any acknowledgment. That just made the experience feel even worse. The cleaning was done mostly well and clay bar treatment was good. However, there were multiple small misses - Brown spots left on the door jamb, front carpets still had small brown dirt, the carpet in center storage spots not cleaned, 'under trunk' not vacuumed. read more

It's been a while since I've been to future wash. I scheduled an early appointment yesterday for The Future Wash Everything. Upon arrival I was told my car would take an hour however after 30 mins, I received a notification my car was ready. I figured since it wasn't busy when I arrived at 9:00 am, they were able to clean my car quickly. I later discovered the interior of my car looked barely touched. Guess it's partly my fault, I should have checked their work before I left. Their website describes the Future Wash Everything as "Inside, we deep clean and vacuum all areas, including the trunk and under mats, and finish with a detailed cleaning of the door jambs for a spotless car inside and out." however this is far from the truth, my car was not spotless. This is the 5th year I come to future wash. After one somewhat let down experience I chalked it up to a bad day. But today after my wash I'm realizing the quality of the work is going downhill. I booked the everything wash ($45 member price $80 non-member) and they quote an 1:15. After 45 min I got a text that my car was ready. I generally trust their work as I mentioned I've had little bad experiences here. When I got home I noticed there were quite obvious misses shown in the pictures. For finishing 30 minutes earlier than quoted I would have expected these obvious misses to have been cleaned properly. read more

I have used Future Wash twice in the past 2 months, at their Santa Row, San Jose location. The first time (~ 6 weeks ago ) I used their "wash everything", the result was not what I expected for a $80 wash (~$110 including tips) : it felt that the inside of the car was not touched. Giving them the benefit of doubt, plus I really like the location ( inside the parking garage right in the middle of Santana Row, you could drop off the car and relax or do shopping while the car is being washed), I decided to give them a 2nd chance. I also went with a more comprehensive package ( maybe they will do a more thorough job?): the everything mini details (clay bar and sealent etc), I went with a monthly subscription so I get the 50% off the regular price. Boy was I disappointed! Upon more careful inspection (after I have paid and got back my car), I can spot so many spots that they have missed. The backseat windows also seem untouched and the interior also still seems dusty. It did look better than when I dropped off the car, but nothing like something I would expect from a ~$180 ( with tips) wash . I have cancelled my subscription and looking for a better provider. read more

This place was a huge disappointment. For the price I paid, I was honestly hoping for better quality. You have to book online, which was ok. We got there right on time and booked for the Everything PLUS interior shine which was about $90. The job was just so.....not as meticulous as I'd hoped for. The wash outside was fine enough. However, there were obvious specks inside that were missed (in the picture). I also don't appreciate how the guy in the counter straight up asked for a tip before we even got to inspect the car. Located in Santana Row, Future Wash will wash and detail your car. Alonzo helped us out when we dropped off the car and we signed up for the membership! They currently have a deal going on and we did a full detail, with clay bar. It's convenient because you can drop off your car, walk around and shop and before you know it your car is done. They were transparent about pricing and did an amazing job. They won't use wackers so it'll protect your paint in the long run. Highly recommend checking them out! read more

Had a great experience with Future Wash. I went in to the Valley Fair location a few weeks back to get my Hyundai serviced by them. Unfortunately the first appointment I had got canceled last minute due to some labor shortage - they let me know as soon as it happened and offered me a discount on service later in the week. Exterior cladding is all still dirty, streaks on windows, door jams still dirty, carpet not vacuumed thoroughly enough and had to ask for tire shine. I said no, but they said it was a slow day, and they would basically be waiting for me for four hours. They did suggest rescheduling but at that point, I was over it and took my car somewhere else. read more

I've used Future Wash several times and each cleaning has been excellent. I am now on a once-a-month program where they come to my house. It is a wonderful service and is so convenient. All they need is an electrical outlet, no water necessary, and the end result is a beautifully cleaned car. They can even get the pet hair out of the the lined areas of the SUV where my puppy usually sits. They have always been on time, completed the work quickly, and have provided excellent service. One thing to note, there are always 2 people that arrive, and each time the team is different. However everyone has been so nice, I'm really impressed! read more

I've taken my Tesla here for the past 6 plus years, when they used to only do Tesla. I'm glad they've expanded to other vehicles over the years. They've serviced my Mazda CX-9, Audi S4, and other vehicle sizes in between. They've always done an excellent job, and I'm happy with what they typically do for my exterior and my interior. I feel bad when I have a bit of a mess in my car due to the toddlers, but they are accommodating and understanding. I try to clear out my car as best as I can before taking it to them to make sure that they are able to do a great job and are given enough time. They've recently changed their pricing structure. I recommend the membership as it unlocks very steep pricing discounts. I used to get stressed out if I was not able to use my monthly credit, so the new pricing really helps. Try the monthly membership first to see if you like their service, as it will cover your car wash. What a great ecrofriendly service they provide to the area. Highly recommend. Tips: -Use them as your mini valet for Santana Row when it's hard to find parking. Just make sure you pick up your car before they close. -They are human, so once in a while they'll miss a spot here and there. Just let them know and they will take care of it. Overall, it hasn't been a problem for me, as I'm happy overall with the job they typically do. -They are located on the first floor of the Winchester garage. Make sure you enter on the left side passing the Tesla superchargers on your left, instead of the right lane going up the ramp to the second floor. Roll forward and make sure to park in front of there stand, not the valet. Everyone always seems to get confused despite the signs. I've seen valet customers treat them like crap, so be nice! read more

Instead of the usual experience of heading into a car wash, not knowing when you will get in, how long it will take, and then just hanging around the car wash for al ong time....Future Wash has addressed it really well. First off, I was able to book it online so I knew exactly when I needed to get in and how long it would take. Secondly, it is at Santana Row, so there are lots of things to do while you wait including grabbing a meal which is what we did. The prices were very reasonable and they did a good job. I was excited to try Future Wash because they claimed they are familiar with Teslas, their eco friendly waterless washes, and are conveniently located near businesses I patron. I scheduled the Everything wash (interior and exterior). When I dropped my vehicle off, I asked to please make sure to wipe down the inside of the frunk. When I got home and began to put belongings back, I realized they not only had not cleaned the frunk, they also missed vacuuming the trunk compartment as well as behind the seat. On top of that, they had charged me for another person's wash and despite it being the same amount, I asked for a receipt because it was sent to the other person's email who I paid for. I was told the manager would follow up with me via phone but have not heard anything. read more

Got the Future Wash Everything at Santana Row. Disappointed in the job that was done. Exterior was cleaned better than interior, but left visible large areas of dirt/residue untouched. Interior looked like it had not been cleaned at all; from first glance there were spots on middle console, dashboard, and seats that could be cleaned with a wipe down. The cup holders in the middle and on the doors were left untouched. I went home and wiped it down myself and cleaned up the interior. For a service that is quite expensive, I expected a lot more. read more

The car wash in general is fine. I got the $89 wash and wax and honestly it's cheaper than most places and so I didn't expect perfect quality. The workers there were generally pretty nice and would come and clean up any imperfections at pickup. One thing I can't forgive and why it's 2 stars is they did a horrendous job on windows. Full of streaks. I don't know if it's the spray or the fact that they don't use clean towels or two towels. It's bad technique and looks dirtier than it was before. The problem is they wash it in a garage so they probably can't see it. Once you drive it into the sun, oh boy. I have to wipe off the window myself now. read more
