I don't know what it is about this store, but the employees seem to be really up in my business in what I buy here! First, I was browsing the acne treatment area because I do tend to have the occassional breakout so I was checking out the new Burt's Bees line. The beauty advisor there lets me know there are some Burts Bees gift sets so I take a look and thank her. Not even a minute later, she comes back and starts suggesting the acne treatment packs that are comprable to Proactiv. I thanked her again and continued to browse onto something else. I pick up the box of Bio-Oil and start reading about it. The beauty advisor comes back once again to say that it's a really good product, great for stretch marks, how her daughter used it, etc. Whoa, ok, thanks. I smile, thank her again and proceed to walk further down the aisle to look at other items. I think by now I'm looking at some face lotion and the beauty advisor comes back AGAIN and starts suggesting a shampoo for me and how there's a good deal going on. Oh man, by now I'm done hanging around this aisle and head over to the other side of the store. I found out that my flex card will not cover multi-vitamins, but they will cover pre-natal vitamins. No, I'm not pregnant, but will probably start trying sometime next year. Until then, I've been taking vitamins, getting my calcium & folic acid, yadda yadda ya....to be ready for when the time does come. So, I figure, what the heck, I might as well get pre-natals since they're covered. As I was checking out, the cashier sees that I'm buying pre-natal vitamins and says, "awwww, pre-natals!" I said it was only because they were covered by the flex card...it was kind of awkward sooo it's probably a good idea not to comment on people's purchases. Needless to say, it's nice to have attentive employees and customer service, but I just felt they went overboard here. I like shopping with some sort of privacy!

I decided to try the carni taco (egg potatoes cheese sausage and bacon) and Pittmaster (egg potatoes cheese brisket). The prices aren't bad at all. They will add salsa to the taco before closing it up. I went with the green sauce since it's spicy. The taco definitely filled up my belly. The green sauce definitely packed the heat I was looking for. The Pittmaster was the highlight of the show. It has more flavor due to the brisket compared to the carni taco. The carni taco has pieces of bacon. I mainly tasted the egg and potato more than the sausage/bacon bits so that is why the Pittmaster was better. Overall I had a good experience and will try it again if I'm in the area.

Besides plenty of covered gas pumps, QuikTrip is known for a well expanded convenience store with tons of drinks and foods available, and this location is no different. Besides long walls of glass doored refrigerators holding a huge variety of bottled and canned drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, there are large sections with more than usual fountain drink options, iced tea, coffee, and even multiple frozen drinks. Additionally behind the register is the kitchen that serves quick service to-go food like sandwiches, pretzels, milkshakes, and lots more. You'll still find a roller grill on one side of the store as well, but it's nice to have more options. They're also known for having roomy, clean bathrooms too, so this is always a good stop on a road trip. And I appreciate how efficient the employees are too, with the ability to use two registers at once to keep the traffic moving so fast, and they're well trained and friendly.

The car wash didn't work so I went into the store to request a refund. (over the years we have had one or two car washes thru out Texas not work & were cheerfully given a refund). The lady at the register went to get her manager when I requested the refund. The manager said it would be reset & to try again at a later date. I asked for a refund as not always in the area. I did get my refund, but the manager seemed very irritated and said something about corporate not wanting that done. In her defense, it might be that store's policy to never give refunds for bad or non working service. But as for us, we will take our business elsewhere. Don't want to spend our money where our patronage is not welcomed.
