This Shell has a great air service machine. It looks tattered and destroyed but its 50 cents. You do need your own tire gauge but the air flow is fast! What I really love about this Shell is the location. Off of the highway. So you can get your gas, snacks or whatever then head back on highway in less than 30 seconds. Tip: If you want a soda refill its 53 cents! cheapest in Central Texas. But it doesnt have a Big Red spout and the Diet coke is kind of flat at times.

Besides plenty of covered gas pumps, QuikTrip is known for a well expanded convenience store with tons of drinks and foods available, and this location is no different. Besides long walls of glass doored refrigerators holding a huge variety of bottled and canned drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, there are large sections with more than usual fountain drink options, iced tea, coffee, and even multiple frozen drinks. Additionally behind the register is the kitchen that serves quick service to-go food like sandwiches, pretzels, milkshakes, and lots more. You'll still find a roller grill on one side of the store as well, but it's nice to have more options. They're also known for having roomy, clean bathrooms too, so this is always a good stop on a road trip. And I appreciate how efficient the employees are too, with the ability to use two registers at once to keep the traffic moving so fast, and they're well trained and friendly.

So much so that on Sunday 10/4/26 he ignored my attempts to get his attention as he stood with his back to both entry doors having a phone conversation, laughing and asking questions like, "Where are you from?" "Oh, you are from bangladesh?" Personal conversations. I waited for him to acknolwedge me and I let him know again and politely that I didnt appreciate his customer service. He took my items and tried to refuse my sell for no explicit reason and then changed his mind. At this point I was disgusted. He told me not to shop in his store anymore, there was another customer there that ended up leaving without purchase due to this conversation which she apologized to ME for what she witnessed. I asked this man for his name and any contact information for his higher ups. He refused and when I made him aware of my compaints to be received by Shell and BBB, he scoffed and told me he would never apologize to me. The store is extremely unkept and dirty inside. There is a broken down carwash with vehicles that have been parked there for months. Its a complete eye sore and brings down the value of any Round Rock surroundings areas!

Inside you will find a very impressive coffee station and a fresh kitchen. Also inside, you will find the usual weenie rollers with all the fixings along with an impressive number of drinks stations. There are hot grab and go and cold grab and go food items. They sell every imaginable alcoholic and non-alcoholic canned and bottled item and even have a small amount of craft beer. There is an ATM, ice, but propane tanks are not available here. If you do decide to get something from the kitchen, they do have two outdoor tables to sit at. I've written up a number of these Quiktrips and they are designed to beat the competition on all counts. Plenty of photos included to prove it.

The selection of food and drinks is HUGE, so that's a plus. Nevertheless, QT's prices are higher than most other convenience stores in the area for nearly everything sold inside. For instance, I came in recently for a gallon of milk and it was priced at $7.99. Not organic or any of that other fancy stuff, just a gallon of good ol' fashioned 2% cow milk. $7.99. That's a record in my experience for a gallon of milk. Today a gallon of milk was $6.89 here at QT while it's $4.89 at 7-11 and $3.52 a gallon at HEB. To make matters worse, a few weeks ago I went in for another gallon of their high-priced milk and there was only ONE left, and it expired the same day. I asked if I could have it at a discount and was told NO! That was annoying. At the Circle K across the street, a gallon of milk is under $5.00. If Circle K's milk is about to expire, they'll usually give it to you for free if you let a clerk there know it's about to pass. Needless to say, I don't buy milk at QT anymore if I can help it. Also, I've never eaten a roller dog from this QT because every single time I try, I find that the hot dog buns are stale and hard as a rock. The breakfast tacos here are awful, too, but for some reason I don't quite understand myself, I keep eating them. In addition, this QT has never been a great place to buy wine because their wine offering is minimal at best. But the thing that pissed me off the most was that one week when for some reason, the sugar-free cappuccino I was getting here nearly every day began tasting a bit lemony instead of the usual caramel white chocolate flavor. At first I didn't think much of it, but then after about the fourth time I went in for my sugar-free cappuccino and tasted lemon, I said something to the manager about it. He checked and discovered that the sugar-filled lemon-flavored cappuccino container was in place inside where the sugar-free cappuccino dispenser was supposed to be! As such, I had been unknowingly drinking sugar all week! I'm not supposed to have sugar, damnit! Now every time I go in for a cappuccino I have to open up the dispenser to check that the powder canister inside is the sugar-free one so it doesn't kill me.
