So what lies ahead has happened in one form or another, several times. The prices are high because it's on the freeway service drive. We get that. Gas is always a bit higher in Reno but this is grossly out of line. Even if I were on empty, I'd risk getting to the next station to avoid this place. IMHO, I would push the stalled car the long haul way, to avoid the jokers that work here. On my last visit ever the cashier (fully decked out in his American flag t-shirt prominently displaying his choice for president in an election that took place seven months ago) proceeded to verbally bash three different minority groups and use more slurs than I don't believe I was ever taught. With a smile I tried to explain I was here for a tank of gas and a newspaper and really wasn't interested. I then became the fourth target due to my "compliancy and lack of motivation to help drive down the...." (blah, blah, blah). Either he was trailing off or I just tuned him out that quickly. Sorry to say it ended with "HEY DUDE, COULD YOU JUST TURN ON THE PUMP? Have a nice night" For what it's worth, the market prices and the gas prices are insanely elevated. They have a fresh milk and cream dispenser. Quite a few condiments to add to your coffee, drinks or if you're in the mood for some food. I've never tried the food bar here. Every time I've been to one of these, I get a really nice greeting, the guy today was from India, very polite to everyone that walked in. I talk to him for a second, since I've been to India, he was extremely nice. I think his name was Bahn or something similar. If I am not mistaken, you can also use your Smith's card here for discounts on gas. So if you don't have a Smith's card, get one as it is definitely my favorite place to shop for all of the low price groceries.

Not sure how else to say this, but we were a bit turned off by the homeless people who were hanging out along the side of the building. After gassing up I went inside to use the restroom *gasp* and grab an energy drink. Restroom doors are inside and always locked and the gal handed me a key attached to the stick of a toilet plunger (hopefully never used for its intended purpose). Along with the store, the Restrooms were clean. There was a solid selection of drinks, as you'd expect as a gas station/convenient store. Service was very nice, so they also had that going for them. Overall, not a bad place to stop for gas, but my wife didn't want to get out. She used the restroom a few exits up, but secretly I think she just wanted Starbucks.

And thank you!) however this has to be the sketchiest Chevron I've ever stopped at in my whole life. We were passing though from Idaho to CA and stoped to get gas and coffee. There was a dude trying to sell some card (maybe a stolen credit card?) out front, everyone inside was dirty, smelly, and seemed like they were on something. My husband saw a drug deal happen right outside the doors as he was filling up. It was adjacent to a even more sketchy motel where most of the people inside were coming to and from. Avoid at all costs.
