Closest gas station to the car rental return for Phoenix Airport. I didn't realize how expensive they were though until I read other reviews. Just stopped here and it was $5.99 for cheapest gas. Last time I bought gas in Phoenix was 2 weeks ago but it was a little over $3 even near Biltmore... so next time I'll try to buy gas somewhere else. I do like that this gas station has a large convenience store and a Subway Sandwich shop, so I can get lunch on the way to the airport. So overall I'd have to call it Okay. Price is certainly high, but everything else is good. read more

They charge nearly DOUBLE, $5.99/gal for regular. The Circle K a quarter mile away was $3.72/gal. A little higher due to proximity to rental car return would be understandable but this is price gouging. I should have read the reviews, this has happened to many people. Many, many replies from Shell say they "take price gouging seriously", but this has clearly been going on for at least a year with no change. read more

Purely predatory pricing for those returning rental cars. Gas prices at this location are nearly 2X market. Unless you happen to be in spot like I was and returning a rental car on fumes in need of a refuel, skip this place at all costs. Why didn't I read these reviews!!! I went here first the same reason everyone does...it is close to rental car return. The gas was almost twice as expensive as gas anywhere else I filled up!! Luckily I only need a few gallons to top of my tank before returning it. I probably would have saved money by just returning it not full!!! read more

This place is 100% a scam operation that gouges unsuspecting travelers headed to return their rentals at PHX. Charging $5.99/gal. for regular when the Circle K two minutes away is charging $3.50/gal. isn't a matter of charging for convenience or supply and demand: It's taking advantage of people's ignorance. The owners of this location 100% know what they are doing, and the saccharine responses they leave to individuals who call out their B.S. are beyond insulting. These pathetic scumbags even go so far as to charge below market rates for diesel so that they can advertise that rate on their signs and Google Maps, again hoping that people won't look too closely. This gas station is the closest one to the rental car return at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport, it was also the most expensive gas in the city on the day I went there. There are many gas stations within a 5 mile radius that are $1.00 cheaper. Do yourself a favor and go to one of those instead. read more

Stopped here to fill our rental car up prior to return. This station is price gouging for gas at double the rate of everywhere we drove on our trip here. I had to pay $7 per gallon The restrooms had urine all over the place and the mirror had graffiti all over it (with the margin they are making on gas, I expect to be able to eat off the restroom floor. The toilet paper was the cheapest you can get as well. read more

ZERO STARS. in addition to it being absurd prices, this gas station charged me twice. once for the amount I pumped into my car and a secondary charge that I did not recognize. I contested it twice with American Express and the gas station fought it twice. AMEX can't dispute more than that so I had to report it as fraudulent. which it is. not to mention, one of the pumps that I tried to use had the hose ripped out of the gas pump. STAY FAR AWAY from this gas station. the owner(s) should be ashamed read more

This place put out of order stickers on the fuel pumps over Labor Day weekend to cheat people by selling the premium fuel. I pulled off the sticker and guess what? Pumps worked fine. Just price gouging over the three day weekend. read more

Today the gas was only $5.99! Everywhere else was around $3.50. Clearly gouging next to the car rental return for the airport. They did have a clean bathroom and well stocked minimart. Maybe higher price can pay for staff these days. But it would be painful if we hadn't filled up outside of Phoenix and just topped off with two gallons here. read more

This Shell gas station close to Phoenix airport is taking advantage and overcharging people $3 per gallon over any other gas station in Phoenix. I didn't know that Shell gas station can do price gauging, just because they are close to an airport and people that need to return the rental car need to bring the fuel tank full I hope some authorities can enforce the gas price control. There was a Circle K near the Super 8 Motel. I got thirsty after my day around Phoenix going from one bar, headed back to my room, and need something to sober up. The store is just like a 7-Eleven. The store sells propane and they have a Blockbuster Kiosk which seems to be popular when I drove up. In fact, I didn't see to many Blockbuster Video stores or any kind of video stores. I walked in and it had a typical setup of the soda fountain machines and cold storage areas. I got two 1 liter Arrowhead ($1.69). If you get two, its 2 for $2. Also, I got two Powerade drinks ($1.89). If you get two, its two for $2.50. I forgot that I was not in CA and there is no CRV fee. Go Arizona!! My total was $4.59. Nothing special besides the Blockbuster Kiosk machine. Oh yeah, I forgot Redbox serves most 7-Eleven. How is it CA gets the red kiosk when its a Democratic State versus Arizona getting Blockbuster blue kiosks when its a Red State...lol. On a final note, Circle K has a special on soda fountain drinks called the Thirst Buster 32oz and 44oz for only $0.79. Not freaking bad!! The Yelp Universe. Where are you traveling today?

I already had a hesitancy to stop at this specific location as I have heard from several of my coworkers that this lady has been caught making racist comments and has used the "N word slur with the hard R". She allegedly had even made a comment as one was walking out saying "Ooo ooo Ah Ah N*****" mimicking a monkey. I also over heard her speaking poorly about an employee that I guess just got fired and she was giggling about the matter and how she was pleased he was gone Very unprofessional for someone to be speaking like that in my opinion When I finally came up to get rung up she didn't even greet me and had a very cold attitude towards me. And she gave me a very nasty look at she was finishing up the interaction Very displeased with this place and the interaction I would say it's safe to assume she's racist and Fry's has no issue employing and keeping the employment of someone who has an issue with people of different skin color. Even though she should be worried about her own sagging, raggedy skin.

No complaints about this station…read more It's the closest to my workplace and I often find myself with our SUV running on fumes at the end of a long day at work (translation: I arrived at work with our SUV running on fumes) so it's usually a beneficial stop before hitting the 101. Have never needed to ask the attendant for assistance. Clear instructions at each pump. Decent gas prices all the time, IMHO. Made even better by using Fry's Fuel points. Water and squeegees are available for cleaning your vehicle's windows. Directional arrows are on the ground showing customers which way they are supposed to pull in and out of each row of pumps - not that the customers always follow these directions. If you are in the area this is a great place to stop in and fill up. There's also a fully stocked Fry's Marketplace with groceries, apparel, a Starbucks, etc. within walking distance. So you can build up your fuel points, of course.

They always close before the closing time that's posted online which is a huge inconvenience. Then…read morewhen I asked the teller why, he's rude about it and tells me he closes early because he has other things to do and that I can pay at the pump. If you're paying cash or are trying to buy something arrive at least 30 minutes before closing time!
