My coworker had told me that he got Royal Farms in 2019, and I said I never had before, and he said I gotta have as they are excellent. He was right! I've gotten other items especially when they give me freebie rewards. Their iced coffee is pretty good, but I've had better in the area. However, they do have a good variety of coffees to choose from like most recently their seasonal drink Pumpkin spice; although I felt a bit queasy later after drinking it, so not sure about their coffee. Also, that same day on Thursday, I bought a Powerball ticket, which I had done on the machine a few times in the past. Fun Fact: I did NOT win the Powerball or even a minimal prize.

I used to go to Wawa at a former company I was with in Halethorpe as it was super close to my office, and the sandwiches were delicious. Like Halethorpe, the sandwiches called "Hoagies" are delicious. You order on the screen and can customize your hoagie how you want and add whatever other items. I've gone in there for just a customized iced coffee drink, which are delicious too, with seasonal flavors like peppermint & pumpkin spice. As I'm writing this review in July, I could really go for some Christmas in July with peppermint! Staff is relatively efficient & cordial. There's been a couple of times it took a while, but that was more that I was going at a peak time. My girlfriend & I went here one time on Saturday, August 3, 2024 before a movie. We both enjoyed our sandwiches. My biggest issue with Wawa is that there is no seating, and that's what makes me often not choose Wawa. We didn't mind the heat wave and were willing to eat outside, but there's no comfortable area to sit on the ground. So, we dealt with eating in the car like animals potentially making a mess in the car (at least with the AC running, but wasting gas). In spite of a couple of negatives, overall a positive experience and will return as it's sometimes a convenient & delicious option.

Friday nights seem to be the young kids hangout spot. There are cars and kids everywhere; even blocking the gas pumps. I usually get the four piece dark chicken; and sometimes add the soft pretzel if it's not too late (low carbs at night). The chicken was seasoned well and had the right amount of crunch. The potato wedge was a bit soft. I put it in my air fryer for 10 minutes to make it crispy. The workers at the hot bar are awesome. If there is an issue, they'll let you know. They have allowed substitution when they were out of what I ordered. The inside of the store is kept neat. I also want to highlight that Royal Farms has the lowest gas in the area. I was surprised to discover that their gas was 20 cent per gallon less than other nearby gas stations. I will now plan my monthly visit to include my tank fill up too.

I had been to this Wawa a couple of times to get gas or for the convenience store. I got the delicious hoagie here one time in April 2021. I went with a couple of friends as we were going to an O's game, and cheaper to eat here than at Camden Yard. They were pretty efficient not having to wait too long on that Saturday. My only issue is that I wish they had some seating somewhere. We ate outside sitting on the curb.
