Continuing my alphabet series with W is for Wawa. W is part 1 of 2 reviews. This alphabet series goes from the beginning of my girlfriend & I dating in February 2024 to Easter 2025. However, the 2nd W is from 7/4/25 as a recent experience, I want to review too. Been to this Wawa several times since living in Russett the past 5 years. I used to go to Wawa at a former company I was with in Halethorpe as it was super close to my office, and the sandwiches were delicious. Like Halethorpe, the sandwiches called "Hoagies" are delicious. You order on the screen and can customize your hoagie how you want and add whatever other items. I've gone in there for just a customized iced coffee drink, which are delicious too, with seasonal flavors like peppermint & pumpkin spice. As I'm writing this review in July, I could really go for some Christmas in July with peppermint! Staff is relatively efficient & cordial. There's been a couple of times it took a while, but that was more that I was going at a peak time. My girlfriend & I went here one time on Saturday, August 3, 2024 before a movie. We both enjoyed our sandwiches. My biggest issue with Wawa is that there is no seating, and that's what makes me often not choose Wawa. We didn't mind the heat wave and were willing to eat outside, but there's no comfortable area to sit on the ground. So, we dealt with eating in the car like animals potentially making a mess in the car (at least with the AC running, but wasting gas). In spite of a couple of negatives, overall a positive experience and will return as it's sometimes a convenient & delicious option. read more

I found a dirty "burgers must be used by 8/16/25" label/sticker in my tuna hoagie.. Wondering why and how it got into my actual sandwich. I vomited. read more

Main purpose for stopping here was to fulfill my bad habit. I happened to make it a quick stop and was able to pull right into a spot and get inside fairly quickly. Once inside, it was fairly easy to make my way through the store to find what I needed. I only needed to grab a sweet tea and a pack of smokes. I am always weirded by the lids Wawa has. If I wanted to choke on ice while I'm guzzling my tea, I wouldn't put a lid on it. Checking out was easy. Bit of a wait because I needed something from behind the counter. Pleasant interaction with the staff behind the counter, and then I was on my way. read more

Have been in this location many a times . Has a tesla charger and gas station outside . Very good location ... I like their sandwich and salads . I'm also a fan of their coffee.. they added refreshers and cold coffee to their menu and it tasted great. Got a maschiato this time and it was good . Quick billing . Thumbs up.. read more

Customer service has gone completely down hill. Drink maker on shift on 9.9.23 @10:40p says he won't re-make drinks that have been sitting to be picked up for more than an hour because it's not coming out of his bonus. So he sent melted frozen coffee and watered down ice coffee instead. Why is the establishment docking workers "bonus" for remaking drinks?! Why is the worker so hell bent on providing bad service when everyone else in the store was willing to let the drinks be re-made. Piss poor!!!! Do better!!! Management you are a failure. Note this was a delivery order. The customer shouldn't suffer because the vendors failed. The drinks were ready at 9:37p. Can you imagine the nasty these are. Watery and melted. Usually wawa food slaps. The last time I went the fries were hard as if they had been sitting out for days. The food was pretty inedible. It took the employees a long time to make my food which did not make the situation any better. I order a chicken sandwich as well that deserved to be thrown straight into the trash. I did order a breakfast sandwich here before that was very good and was cooked as expected. This location has tesla chargers in addition to their standard gas pumps. read more

I am soooooooooooooooo excited that wawa is open! I grew up going to wawa in NJ and moving to this area they are in areas that I don't frequent on a weekly basis. I have watched this one be built from the ground up and I am pleased to say that this is a great place to go for gas, hoagies, atm, drinks, and coffee. Did I mention the coffee is free for the first ten days! Go get some now and you will be hooked on wawa! read more

The new store has everything we've grown to love about the Goose: plenty of pumps, custom made sandwiches, clean rest rooms. This one gets the extra star for two reasons: price a dime lower than nearby stations, and FREE AIR! Old school. Seriously, keeping your tire pressure right helps gas mileage, tread wear, ride and handling. Making that easy shows that Wawa appreciate us customers,so I'll appreciate them right back with my business. read more

This Wawa is a disgrace to the Wawa brand. The staffing or lack of staff is one part but the few that actually appear to work there are incompetent. I'm so sick of ordering one thing and getting either something totally different or the worst sandwich ever! How do you mess up an Italian cold cut... they are excellent at doing the impossible, the impossible task of putting meat on bread!!! And why is it that my meatball sub is a tuna sub? I can't make this stuff up. Even their self checkout machines are incompetent because they don't work half the time. The corporate office of Wawa need to come and fix this immediately as it is an unfortunate blemish on there wonderful record. Call bar rescue or something!!! Fix it!!! read more

I went to try the new turkey sandwich with dressing and cranberry. I was looking forward to this. But, I asked to have the bread toasted. I'm not sure if the bun was old or what. The bread was hard as a rock. Get the Bowl. read more

Orders a scrambled egg hoagie. When I got home it had no eggs on it. In addition to this the workers nails were so long they cut through the gloves so she might as well had no gloves on. Go to another Wawa because this on is inefficient and ratchet. read more

Stopped here for gas and almost needed my daughter to drive! Got weak in the legs. If you need gas as of 6.13.22, be prepared to pay 4.99 a gallon for regular. Other than that, the store is always clean. Some of the staff, can get a little snappy but maybe they're mad at the prices too read more

I love Wawa! Ever since I first had them in College Park when I was in college! So happy to see this location here. Stopped by a few days ago for coffee! They have really good coffee by the way! There were quite a few others getting coffee as well. They only had one person on the register so maybe that's something they need to improve on! I'll be back soon for one of their hoagies. Don't judge me!! read more

It's Wawa. Just your average gas station convenience store. This location had tons of trash everywhere and there were a number of strange people walking around. read more

New Wawa. Clean and with all the usual food and drink options but my favorite part is all the Tesla chargers.

I've been to this particular Wawa a couple of times for Chicken Noodle soup and each time all I've got was a cup of broth, two pieces of chicken and three or four noodles, this is damn ridiculous, you mean to tell me they can't see there's no substance and all broth when they add it to the cup??? read more

Stopped here for Tesla supercharger (fast!) and were pleasantly surprised by the clean restrooms and ease of ordering at the self-serve kiosk. Sandwiches, tenders, quesadilla and burrito bowl were all tasty. Disappointed by the small portion of avocado/ guacamole on the bowl. Frozen Icee drinks a hit with the kids on a very hot day. Great place to street our legs and charge the car during a road trip even if off the main highways a bit. read more

Their food is absolutely disgusting. I ordered their burrito bowl (beef) & it tasted absolutely disgusting. They didn't even put any beef. I ordered their Italian hoagie as well and it tasted just as bad. Please don't buy any food from here, it would be a waste of your money. I ordered via Uber eats and when I got my food, not only was my order wrong, but the food I got made me sick. Please use caution when ordering from this Wawa location. read more

To be honest I love Wawa, but one thing that catches my attention is how employees handle food. Employees touch the trash can, touches cleaning wipes to clean silverware, and touching different object and then my food with the SAME glove. That's called cross contamination and that's unacceptable! You guys can really kill someone or get them sick by doing that! Got to do better.. change gloves will be a good start. read more

Awful customer service and they don't offer to fix their mistakes. I asked the sandwich maker to fix a sandwich they left three ingredients off of including cheese and you'd think I'd asked for her left leg. That was a first and last visit ever to a Wawa. The pretending she didn't hear me and the nasty attitude were too much to be forgiven. read more

Every time I go I have to wait a while to get my food because the workers are gossiping or just playing around with other coworkers but this trip specifically I had ordered 3 separate things and 2 out of the 3 were made completely wrong. I had a ham sandwich with no ham...make that make sense please...and I paid extra for a topping on an item but didn't get that on my item either. I get it they are kind of new but this was ridiculous. read more
