We were on our way home from So Cal, and stopped to get some gas, $6.19 gal, but that's not what this review is about, went into the store to get some snacks, one, a Milky Way a 4.75 oz bag of Gardettos garlic chips small bag of cashews and a bag of ice, $34. We have a shell card. Ran our card, started pumping and got "your gas has been stopped". There was a kid inside who i assume should be working considering it is before 9 pm on a Thursday. I knocked on the door and he ignored me. Considering we needed gas, i proceeded to knock, he finally responded "stop banging on my door" We are in the middle of the grape vine, in the rain, needing gas and this fuck boy worker didn't have the decency to allow us to get gas. Easy to find, just off the 101 and easy to get back on the road. LOTS of pumps and easy to use terminals. I didn't venture into the mini mart and the prices were higher than elsewhere but I was low on fuel and didn't want to cross the pass without a fill-up. I don't mind paying more for my inability to plan further ahead than 40 miles. :) Very convenient station. Some water leaking from the overhead to my car (not raining at the time). read more

I'm a big fan of this Shell because it is literally right before the famed grapevine and I always find myself here filling up gas when I forget to stop by Kettlemen City on the way down from NorCal. Furthermore, their bathrooms are clean and well maintained unlike some of the other, seedier stops along I5. I don't mind the price hike as much since it's relatively convenient and plenty of amenities to be found. The only complaint I have is that I am ALWAYS confused when getting back on the freeway since it's not very intuitive which direction you're going until it's too late and you're already on some crazy on-ramp which will wrap around 3 times. read more

Nice pit stop for getting some gas and snacks on the way to Los Angeles. It is and easy on and off freeway 5 with the ramp located a couple hundred feet from the station. The mini mart has a good selection of drinks and beef jerky. The restrooms are clean most of the time but could use some work. The gas is not cheap but it's the same for any station along the I 5 . Well if you can be impressed by a gas station rest room.....I was impressed! Long drive from northern California to LA and it was rough. I was tired and needed a potty break. I stopped at this shell station and WOW! The test room was clean, smelled nice and had toilet paper and hand soap! Hats off to the attendant Mark! Nice job, oh and he was friendly too! This place sucks. Yes, it's a clean gas station, but that's about it. Gas here is such a rip off. They even charged me $0.65 for a cup of hot water for my sick gf. Fill up on the other side of the hill and you'll fill up for $0.20 less or fill up further north and you can get it for $0.40 less. The review is on the mystery TPMS light on the Camry. TPMS or Tire pressure monitoring system lights on when low tire pressure is detected. Driving from Fresno I noticed the TPMS light turn on just before 1-5 steeply climbs up the mountain pass. I pulled into the last gas station. Outside was at least a 50 mph wind blowing and howling. The air pressure unit was non functional and observing the tires all four looked inflated. The only problem I found was the front hood was not fully latched down. I pushed the hood down until it locked in place, got back in the car and the TPMS light turns off. Is there a built in guardian angle in these cars? read more

I go inside and like always, I ask to fill my tank so I can come inside and get some snacks on the same purchase. The guy inside was polite but he would not help me the way I needed. Another in a long list of stations that refuse this simple service. I give up on the snacks and go to pump my gas. They did have those vital little locking mechanisms on the handles ++ but the prices WOW I didn't bother filling up. I stopped the pump when it was almost at $10 only to see that a little over 2 gallons had been purchased. I stopped in to get gas, some coffee, and stretch a little. I paid for my gas at what looked to be a brand new pump. The outside was clean and well maintained. Upon walking in I was greeted with a smile from a young lady named Mindy. She was very helpful and even made a fresh pot of coffee for me. The bathrooms were clean and the store was well stocked with a large variety of snacks to help me get through the rest of my trip. Prices were a little high but I expected that considering the location. While waiting for my coffee I another gentleman came in that only spoke Spanish although the Cashiers Spanish was not great she made every effort to understand and accommodate the man. I will definitely be stopping here next time I drive-through. I actually look forward to getting another history lesson on the grapevine from Mindy. read more

We needed to stop for gas on the way out of town and pulled off the highway before heading south over the grapevine. What a DUMP. The ladies restroom literally has dirty hand prints on the entrance door as well as the walls. (I was told the mens bathroom was just as dirty.) The handicapped bathroom has no lock. The store itself is pretty gross. If you need to stop for a pit stop, you would be better off pulling off the road and going in the open field! NASTY! The entrance and exit is visible and easy. The staff are very friendly and they a fantastic costumer service. The store looks very clean and the floors were clean as well.
