When I mention to the staff that this is unacceptable they get defensive and insist that the pumps aren't out of paper but instead are jammed as if this makes it ok. While occasional jams or being out of paper would be acceptable this is a persistent problem for this station. Additionally, another customer had the same problem while I was inside waiting in line.

Just gets by as a restaurant in a small dining area surrounded by the gas station convenience items. Service gets 3 stars. The employees are fine, but they are a franchised location and do not honor A&W's coupons and special deals I get in their email. Best bacon cheese burger of anyone's in my opinion. Onion rings are among the best, also. Shrimp basket is pretty good, although I have had better tasting cocktail sauce. The french fries are excellent, too. The cheese curds are really yummy. The root beer is the best, period. I've had all kinds of root beer, a bunch of the "gourmet" brands, even. A&W always comes out on top. And here, you get it make with real sugar, not high fructose corn syrup that they sell in the grocery stores. A&W root beer floats, yum! A&W root beer freeze, YUM! (It's basically a root beer milk shake.) 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I am just not a fan of a gas station whose pumps talk (loudly) to you, trying to get you to buy…read morethis or that. This Shell is actually the only gas station that I can recall that does this, and it is mighty annoying. I really don't need to hear the bs early in the morning or when I'm in a rush. Just let me pump my gas and get on my way, please. I'm also not really a fan of gas stations that charge for air. Give me a break. It's air. It used to be free here, too. Ok, your machine costs you money to buy and upkeep, I get it. But if you have free air, I'm more likely to buy your gas. That's how you can make money off of me, not from a few quarters to fill my tires in a pinch or an emergency. It gives me warm and fuzzy feelings to know that if my tire is low, the station around the corner has me covered without having me dig around for quarters that I never carry. The gas prices are usually ok, but even so, this Shell is a last resort gas station for me. With the QT's that have popped up, who have quiet pumps, free air, clean stores, and reasonably priced gas, I'd rather just go to one of them and give them my money. They're more deserving.
