Spacious lanes amd convenient access to Houghton are some of its best qualities. It's not the best place for gas station snacks as they just have a few kiosks for things like trail mix and jerky and the regular selection of sodas and energy drinks. No alcohol, I don't think. I usually never talk to the staff but the one time my fiancee did so, they refused to make change even though they had the appropriate bills. He asked for cash back in fives but the cashier refused because "if I give you my fives I won't have any left." If you're not using your notes on a customer, then for what would you be saving them?

As I mentioned the gas station serves Shell gas, but buyer beware, there is a 10 cent difference between the advertised prices at the road and and the pump, that is because they 10 cent savings is for those that use cash or a Shell credit card. Additionally there is a 30 cent difference between grades of gas.

No warning, no conversation, nothing. Just attitude and rudeness like he owned the place. When my boyfriend calmly asked why, Isaac kept repeating "because I said so." That is not how you treat customers, especially people who come in every day on long hauls. We both felt uncomfortable and disrespected, and the fact that nobody else stepped in to explain anything made it even worse. If this is how they handle guests, I'm honestly shocked the place is still running. Pilot needs to retrain their staff immediately because this was embarrassing, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary.

I do not know how things are on the inside, because I have only gone here for gas. Pumps are good and a few of them are good for motorcycles - pumps are ease to control to fill up a smaller tank. When the other clerk showed up he told me that he was going to be the only one at the store because the other clerk was leaving and that he could not assist me.
