I stopped here on my way to an event, not knowing that the food mart is actually a covert 7-11. Once I pulled up and parked, I saw the 7-11 branded posters in the windows. This is the furthest South location in Esco, with the closest others being Felicita & Escondido Blvd, and 9th & Center City. The soda fountain is more old-school, and doesn't have as many choices as a standard 7-11 location. They also charge tax on top of the $1 advertised special. Regular 7-11 locations include the tax in the promo price. But it's a convenient stop if you're heading South or West, or are coming from the mall. They offer many of the other 7-11 rewards specials. read more

I wanted to leave a note regarding the state of the facilities here. While I'm glad a restroom is available, the current condition is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the management. A little bit of care and regular maintenance would go a long way in showing respect for the general public and your paying customers. I hope to see this addressed in the future. read more

This gas is expensive but it's the same as other gas stations in San Marcos; $5.20 for regular gasoline. A few pumps were down but the rest pumped has quickly. I do appreciate that this gas station is right off the 15 freeway and next to the mall. read more

This is a difficult station to get to with all the turn restrictions during certain hours. Prices are decent but some pumps are always out of service... Just glad they accept the Ralph's Card discount! Premium fuel is well worth the price. read more

You would think that this place could have a clean bathroom? It sells food; "Food Mart", so that always makes me suspicious about the freshness, cleanliness, and quality of the food they're offering me. This gas station is fairly convenient, although the gas prices tend to be high. I would never make a trip to go here. But if you're running low on gas, it's easy to loop off the freeway and fill up here. This is one of those situations where, could they do better? Of course! Will they do better? I highly doubt it, because they don't need to! The place isn't so bad or scary so as to keep people away. If you want to have a fun experience, don't come here. I use to come here twice a week spending around $150 to fill up and heat up my lunch. say goodbye to that since they stopped letting me use the microwave....really worth losing $600 a month to refuse me heating up my own food. Shell station on corner of Del Lago and Via Rancho Parkway is charging people before gas comes out out. I filled up my truck, and two gas cans on pump 6. All three times the $s window started spinning before the gas window, and I could feel the difference in the nozzle. I tried to reporting to the staff and they were indignant. This Shell is really convenient as it is close to the freeway. This is the Shell that it right next to the 15S on ramp. So if you need gas before going down south, this place is a good place to stop at. The gas prices aren't that bad. Pretty reasonable compared to all the other gas stations in the area. The location definitely is really what makes this place pretty good to go to. They also have a little mini mart if you need to buy any snacks or drinks or even use the bathroom for a pit stop. There's another Shell literally one block away. So if you're going southbound you'd stop at this place and if you exited and going east, you'd stop at the other one. read more

This gas station is convenient if you are heading to I-15 south from Via Rancho Parkway. It is in a little area with McDonalds, Starbucks, and other little food joints. The gas price is reasonable, especially for a better brand. There are other cheapo gas stations in Escondido that's more expensive. No price difference if you pay with credit card. I've never been in the mini mart so I can't tell you what it's like inside. Heads up - if you are getting out of the gas station Monday- Friday, 6am - 9am, you cannot turn left to go straight on the 15s freeway. A lot of cops hide out in that area. read more

Conveniently near i15 but plan it right! Once you are in you can only exit one side which does not allow left turn so you must go to next light for U-turn; which then gets you back on track. Today was a frustrating stop as I had my mother-in-law with me. She is unable to get out of the car so when I pulled up to the pump and the credit card swiper was blocked with red tape, as well as the screen displayed "see cashier inside"; I though I just picked a bad pump. Walked around to the one on the other side of me and it too had it. Looked down to the one next to me and same thing! I was going to press the disabled assistance button since I can not leave her in the car alone but though "how am I going to give them my card to be processed?" Never coming here again. Anthony was rude, told me I need your bday, then oh I need the id, took out my passport card and put it back. Put my card in the machine and he said I need to see the id for your card, I joking said heyyyy you could have told me before I put it away, he told me in the most monotone of voices while glaring that "he wasn't trying to have an attitude with me and if it was up to him he wouldn't ask anything and that he has 500 customers a day and doesn't ...." I love this place! I usually go here to pick up some snacks when I am with friends. The parking lot is huge and it is a cool place to pit-stop. There is a ton of drinks, food and convenience items inside. Shell V-Power gasoline is also great. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Went in to pump gas at the gas station and the cashier put my money on a different pump. When I went back in to figure out what was going on, they said the money was put on the wrong number and there was nothing they could do about it. When the manager MARTHA came, she was extremely unprofessional and kept raising her voice at me saying it was my fault. Being a manager, she has extremely poor customer service. No manager should ever talk to a customer the way she talked to me. I don't really like this shell. The people there are not very friendly. They're always in a hurry to get rid of you. I just never enjoy my time there at all. I had quarter rolls and the attendant told my daughter we don't take change? WHAT????? Who doesn't take quarters? I'm driving a 2014 flex, I have a baby with my and they said their policy is to not take more than $3 in change???? Wow really? I walked in there and with a smirk on his face Cosme or whatever his name is kept insisting he couldn't take change. Then they told me to go to a bank and come back with bills I might have foreign coins in there. Terrible customer service! He could have said hey I can take $5 but that's all sorry, but he didn't. He said I can't take that. I counted out $3 in quarters and he finally took $3 after fighting with him for 15 minutes. read more
